Ever since we realized this ED had a ton of foreshadowing I've been trying to find out the meaning of the lyrics. They seem pretty nonsensical but I think there might be something to it. It's almost as if Zeke's 'how will you respond?" Is supposed to be meant for both contexts (Mikasa/Historia). They flashback to Eren having a conversation with Floch about his plan while he's talking to Historia, assuming he parroted those same words to her. It's almost as if Isayama is trying to imply Eren rejected Historia's 'what would you think about me having a child' with his 'i only has 4 years left to live' like he used Eren's words with Floch as a stand in to what he told Historia without actually showing it. Almost like Isayama is sinking both ships with these flashbacks.
