Unfortunately I didn't get into Fate until later, but def has that mid/late 2000s weeb vibe.

>no chance of a season 2
>manga on permanent "hiatus"
>Yoshimizu literally abandoned LS in the middle of serialization and replaced it with another SoL 4-koma called Maesetsu.
At least the author didn't die like with a couple that I liked. I feel you though.
>Dakara kakko tsukenaide motto jibun wo shinjite
Sono yume wo oikake Love & Rock Love & Rock, Peace!!
It's like I'm 13 again
any pic of this girl
It's still depressing, you could tell that he took character development seriously before he dropped the manga. I'll probably sound autistic as fuck for saying this; but it was the only high school 4koma that actually gave off the atmosphere of immersion when I read it. I haven't read Hidamari Sketch yet, but I have a feeling that it will be similar.
not gonna lie the FOMO is strong with these threads
Thank you for this masterpiece, I will cherish it.

It was a simpler time back then.
And to expand on that, the artstyle from the first couple of volumes is still my favorite from any series of all time. It was the perfect mix of 90s and 00s style.
Missing out on what? The videos haven't been deleted. The mid 00s optimistic otaku culture isn't coming back unfortunately. I would kill to be able to visit 2007 Japan.

being a weeb during that time it's certainly more fun than now but i don't know man...
as a new anime fan (started in 2013) i always find the mid 00s to be a fascinating time to be a weeb

I know that Touhou has it's own board in /jp/ these days but you couldn't walk one inch without seeing Touhou interspersed with the greats of late 2000's anime like Haruhi, Lucky Star, or Death Note.
Not OP, but current otaku culture is too sterilized and kept in a controlled environment. Also, NND as we knew it from the 2000s unfortunately died off and it's corpse is being prepped by vtuber shit

I think anime now has a broader reach because of online streaming and word of mouth, but it was sort of a wild-west era back then. I barely caught the tail end of that era starting from 2007 and I was too young to fully comprehend it. Most everything in my backlog of anime, games, and visual novels is all mid 00s.
Yes, everything currently released is more of the same, it's all diluted.
>vtuber shit
i hate this shit with a burning passion it's the most soulless and manufactured shit i've ever seen
Can I make you cry with this?
I'll find and dump photos I guess.
Remember when you could be enthusiastic about your passions without being ironic or overly self-conscious?
I never really answered your question, it isn't coming back because the current global situation doesn't really have a place for it. If the economy improves and more media is produced then it still is certainly possible.
These photos make me nostalgic for the brief period about 10 years ago when Akiba Blog translated its posts into English. I followed them religiously, if only to learn about the neighborhood in preparation for my trip to Japan.
The era of social media has done away with that philosophy unfortunately.
I'll try to find more, I'll expand my range from 2003-2008
>KnJ
I never watched it, but I vividly remember the controversy over that
This one and the Ryuuseigun chorus will always fill me with a sense of having missed out, fuck you for posting this
