nigga theres 50 million unemployed lmao

I genuinely enjoy my work and am bored whenever I have a day off

You need better hobbies

every passing day I am coming to terms that I will not make it and will have to 9 to 5 until the casket drops.

I used to be like this until I did the same thing every day for 6 years straight

I hope they make me redundant soon so I can enjoy NEET life without having to do some interview for autismbux

How did you even last for 6 years? I start falling apart in like 12-18 months of same shit

Imagine not being a software engineer and not enjoying your job kek

Earlier it was exciting and I was still a new guy fresh out of college looking to prove himself. Now my ambition has paid off several times and I have a complacent, stable, well paid position where nothing ever changes

I fell for the data analytics meme and work at a hosptial

>Forgot my drill and some other equipment at home
>Total valid reason to go home and pick it up
>Get home
>Make food, masturbate and play some games for 2 hours
>Come back to work and pretend I've been there
DEVILISH

All my supervisors in engineering are on vacation so I just fuck around.

Never too late to change career and become Chad DevOps engineer

Anyone else have a phase where you barely work for months at a time and nobody even notices?

Bros help. I'm a mechanical engineer this field is filled with boomers. How do I become a work from home software Chad?

Engineering for a company that spins its wheel in the mud. I’ll frequently gets tasks that are cancelled 2 days later

Yeah right now actually

>Chad
>DevOps

Bump. 99% of the jobs are busywork, fixing old CAD shit. My IT & software friends either do cool shit or do absolutely nothing, and they all make more than me WORKING FROM HOME REEEE PLEASE HELP ME LEAVE THIS INDUSTRY

>You missed a line there, user
>Why is it connected there
>Suppliers misunderstanding shit

Dude I literally just redline/correct the mistakes of other engineers all day long. Or argue with technicians about the customer’s retarded requirements (nothing I can do about it). I know I picked the wrong major. Hopefully I make a connection or something before I kill myself

I have an intellectually stimulating job that has new elements to it every couple months or so. Periods of hard work and relaxed working. Only 10 min drive from home. Good upward momentum.

And I STILL trade crypto/stocks obsessively in hopes to make it and never have to work again. It's about freedom.

If dealing with retarded requirements and constantly having to fix other people's shit annoys you, there are several areas of programming/software that you should stay far far away from

It doesn't bother me. I just want to work from the comfort of my home. Pls assist.

I’ll gladly do it given the amenities that most software positions offer these days (grotesque salaries, remote work, younger culture). Manufacturing and mechanical jobs are full of miserable boomers or people who are eager to work 80hrs for 65k/year

Go into specialty manufacturing.

Oh wait only based chemical engineers get that.

Liking your job is a masculine trait. If you have a job you hate, either find a new one, or learn to be a real man.

Hank Hill would never call himself a wage cuck.

Same user. The problem is the jobs pay well and we can’t just go to college another 4 years to start doing something else

lol, I'm a programmer and make 25k per year and thats a lot for a programmer here,
waitressess make more
