Jojo part 7

I'm currently around chapter 40~. When does it get better? Everyone kept saying this is the greatest part and after Scary Monsters it gets amazing but from what I've read: no. Johnny is one of, if not the worst "Joestar" up until now, he doesn't have any flavor to him, isn't interesting in any way, and Gyro has a pretty dumb backstory with a bit better but still bland personality.
Besides Mandom and Catch the Rainbow, there were no interesting stands up where I am now, Boom Boom family especially being atrocious. There's also a lot of parts where I can't understand anything especially when Gyro throws his balls around. Funny also is fat and doesn't feel like any threat at all.

The point of Johnny is that he is a selfish prick. You aren’t really meant to like him at the beginning

keep reading brainlet

Johnny going from being a whiny prick to a slightly less whiny prick with randomly resolved(?) daddy issues by the end is not entertaining or deep no matter what the ''intention'' is. JoJo of all things trying to have more ''realistic'' characters always backfires.

If you dont like at this point then you should just drop it

Its definitely overrated but still great. Civil War is yet to come, then you have the cluster fuck of Valentine's big reveal.

Well, the thing that is supposed to keep you going is that, Gyro, being a Zeppeli, has to die at some point, the question is where and how so keep reading. It will be soon

>reading colored garbage
yeah no wonder it's never getting good for you

>colored

Holy based

This.

I think the best part of Jojo is in part 5. Part 7 is overrated from my perspective.

Johnny is the only Joestar that cannot be summed up in a single sentence. He is a more complex character than Araki had ever written before.

you had me until
>Johnny is one of, if not the worst "Joestar" up until now
But I agree. This part is better or worse than the parts that come before it. Part 6's absurdly strange ending managed to make anything that came after it tame and mundane.

Based satan.

> This part is no better or worse than the parts that come before it
There's nothing deep about JoJo, get over yourselves.

Oh, I can sum him up in a single word.

>Cripple

Steel Cock Run is overrated

t. mental midget

If you think part 5 was good then your perspective is trash.

>Part 5 was the best
No

Part 8 is better, read it non-colored, don't pur(you) me or else calamity.

Saved

To be fair Gold Experience does have a development potential of A

But you can sum everyone up with barely any detail if you want to.

>Johnny is a bitter, selfish man who wants great power for his own selfish desires

So dio

You will not enjoy it because Zig Forums made your standards impossibly high.

As for me it took a while to enjoy but when Gyro stopped being the main character and it shifted to Johnny, that's when I got hooked. Also I didn't have Zig Forums screaming in my ears about how good it was since it was ongoing at the time and Jojo wasn't as big.

I can't believe that we're 2,020 years after the corpse parts were scattered and there's still no cure for shit taste.

Stand stats don't matter and were made up years after some of the characters and stands were introduced. The non-Giorno fights are interesting because they don't have bullshit powers that can't be beat. Even Jotaro struggles in part 4 and 6 despite having time stop, yet GE's life energy has way too much usage.

>It can create life from inanimate objects
>Said life can be born in hostile environments and be born with a cure/antidote
>Also, said life can reflect 100% of damage and effect back to the enemy
>It can also imbue living with life energy, resulting in an overcharged consciousness where the person hit will relive the punch with excruciating pain
>It can use life energy to rapidly age living organisms
>It can fully recreate a life form, down to its soul as in the case of Coco Jumbo
>Wounds can be healed by changing objects into living tissue, so not even a full life form anymore

GE is just not entertaining and neither is Giorno and some of his abilities had to be dropped because of how broken and unexciting they were.

I thought the first half of SBR was weak. Good start but repeating elements from previous parts (yet another magnetism stand etc.) weakened it.
It does get better, especially when the wife gets involved in shit.

Scarlet?
