I'm thinking fighting for Israel might be BASED... If I do it right.
>What is the most profitable branch of the military and OS for when you get out
>What is the best way to profit from entering the military
Most profitable way to do the military thing
>be citizen of greatest country in history in the best economy ever
>voluntarily become a literal slave for 10k salary for 4 years
if you were playing an RPG and rolled an american character by chance, is that what you would do?
bump
Air force
What MOS? What jobs can I do after that are profitable ?
Air Force, do ROTC for free college, go with either languages (sigint), medicine, or engineering. My sister in law's sister is an engineer who just made lieutenant colonel, her husband is a major. I believe their combined base pay is over $300K, but they're both lifers.
Air Force for money. Anything else for pain
Navy or AirForce. Talk with the recruiter about getting into a position to make money. Do well on the entrance testing.
Friend of mine went Navy and first job out was 90k a year.
Also save your money while you are in don't blow it like everyone else.
Military cars played correctly will give you a great future. Played incorrectly you're a broke alcoholic with no job.
Are you the same little faggot that made a post about the coast guard the other day?
Either Chair Force to make money and have it cushy, or Muhreens to actually do fun shit and shoot guns and maybe kill brown people.
But you should do merchant marine instead. It's way more money than military for less work and bullshit
>Navy or AirForce.
Do not join the Navy. If you want to fucking kill yourself in a year, then go ahead. If not, do not join the navy.
All branches pay the same. It's literally a scale depending on time and rank. The only difference monetarily is any signing bonus and what you'll be able to do when you get out. Signing bonuses are small change. Best value is QoL and training. AF has best QoL. Best training depends entirely on what you want to do after and what you can get in to.
t. retarded chucklefuck who dropped a nuclear rating in the navy to run around with guns
>dropped a nuclear rating in the navy
You prob made the right decision user. Imagine being on a fucking submarine and sharing a bed with another dude. That's some serious faggot shit. I've never heard of a submariner who wasn't either autistic or a giant faggot.
>Option 1
Get accepted to college, be high speed enough to get an ROTC scholarship so that your school is paid for. Go Air Force and try to be a cyber officer of some sort. Whatever gives you security clearances, specialized technical training, certifications, etc. Finish your 4-6 year commitment and get out, debt free, with the ability to use the G.I. Bill to get paid to go back to school again for higher degrees, more certs, etc., then either be a government contractor or go into the private sector with tons of advantages over rank and file competition.
>Option 2
same as above, but you're not high speed enough to get a scholarship. Finish school and try to commission either through ROTC (see if they offer tuition repayment signing bonus) otherwise just be a normie and commission after you graduate and angle for tuition repayment in your contract.
>Option 3
fuck college, enlist in the Air Force and get a good tech/cyber job with a high bonus and a low enlistment term, finish your 3-4 years, get the fuck out, and finish your degree on the GI Bill
Yeah, I realized I wasn't made for submarine life when I toured one later as a normie and saw the bunks they'd have tried to squeeze my 6'+ ass into. I would've gone full sodoku.
Corollary -
You can knock out some school during your enlistment and the govt. will pay for it. You won't be able to finish a bachelor's, but you'll at least be able to squeeze in your AA and have that under your belt by the time your enlistment ends. What's good is that it doesn't come from your GI Bill benefits you get when you discharge - it's a separate thing. You save even MORE money and you can milk the GI Bill for more education since you're ahead of the curve.
The single most valuable resource vets have is the G.I. Bill, and it frustrates me when guys have no interest in using it. You literally get paid to go to school. Books, tuition, living stipend adjusted for COL in whatever part of the country you're studying. I was getting about 3k a month for my living expenses, and I rarely spent more than $1000 a month. I was able to save and invest A LOT while going to school.
Cyber of any branch, not marines. Get TS and BS in engineering. Join tech company. Be literally hitler at the same time as you do the military/corporate song and dance of diversity and equity, while stockpiling weapons and rations for the inevitable race war/communist insurrections.
Im an Army CPT and have been in 10 years, just finished up my time as a recruiting company commander if you want No BS ask away
but my initial thoughts are irrespective of branch you choose do something in IT where you can get certs SEC+ ect,
Do you guys still take in coasties that drive boats and make them warrants?
Yes, but you have to join some shit MOS then apply to be warrant. You also could go street to seat and would have a way better chance since you were in the coast guard. But we have boats too. I saw maybe 1 warrant packet get approved in 2 years though
agree Navy or Army, cyber is at Ft Gordon I think for all the branches, it not much different as its a complete desk job whatever branch you are, I need to switch to 17A, 25A is pretty gay
officer is literally the best choice, it will give you a lot of job opportunity
>. You also could go street to seat and would have a way better chance since you were in the coast guard
what does this mean
you come in off the street with no experience and put a warrant officer packet in, its a low selection rate but it happens some times, mostly for pilots.
Checked.
Didn't realize you could go warrant without being prior, that's interesting. Well thanks user
helps if you have your pilot license and bachelor degree, not required though.
If you don’t have a degree, you try for US special forces then become a mercenary as soon as someone will hire you. Here it’s about 700 tax free on the lowest level.
If you have a degree you join the Australian Military, look at the salaries. They get a pension on top of that to boot.
Army user here, my MOS is 88L (watercraft engineer, yes we have cargo boats)
Very fortunate to have this job because merchant mariner is a very real career opportunity after this.
I was cucked though and got a criminal record when before I joined so the only branch that would take me was the Army and the Navy.
If I could choose I would go to college and enlisted as an officer in the Airforce for maximum coziness. Military isn't bad but if you go Army or Marines you'll lose your knees and probably become a degenerate alcoholic like myself.
Think other anons here gave good advice. I joined army intelligence with a 35 series MOS and got a 20k signing bonus for 3 years. Partied in Germany for 3 years, got out with a job starting at 75k with just my clearance. Pretty good gig considering I got shit grades in school and just wanted to get out of my house. Now I'm 23, will make 6 digits in a couple years, have vet benefits and my college paid for(and housing while I'm in college).
