this chapter is actually really solid. It has the good amount of comedy and action, like I like it. I think it's the comedy most likely to survive the axebowl.

Honestly this seems less gagbowl worthy than Yozakura. It's more of a buddy cop action series with a few comedic moments here and there.

really? Tamura's art in Beelzebub was good.
even Yozakura isn't a gagmanga. those two are just action comedies.

Pretty nice chapter. I think it has the tone that it wants down now.
Although I do expect it to get darker as time goes on.

I like it. That said, I do find it weaker than Beelzebub. Also, the sudden eldritch abomination on chapters 2 and 3 made for a very weird pace change from chapter 1, were they bust people recording them on the streets.

I think the point of that was to transition shark from normal cop to ocean cop asap. I doubt we will get normal criminals

I hope this shit survives. Jump is swimming in new material and losing top players though so I feel like it has a decent shot to go awhile even if people don't like it too much.

After 3 chapters I just find it really boring, and I really don't know why. There's a fucking dolphin man punching an explosive octopus, at the very least it should hold my interest a tiny bit!

I feel this way too. There's just nothing meaty to really make me look forward to reading it. The first chapter was fun because a dolphin man sounded absurd but there's really no significance to him being a dolphin right now.
