Their show ruined me as a person. I remember watching this as a kid when I was 3. I liked the show so much I started to emulate Shin in my daily life. It took me years to literally stop peeing and shitting myself. Not only that but I developed a liking to small tits big ass women and redheads. Rewatching the Funimation dub when I was in middle school made me develop a fucking fetish for domestic abuse which I can still not get over today. Still the best show I've ever watch. I've been rewatching a few of the dubs with my brother this summer.

nah for me they didn't air shinchan on the tv when i was a kid on the asain public channel, they aired one with a girl, and she kept on going "EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" all the time and me and my brother used to meme that shit all the time.

It's meh not as funny as the Funimation dub but definitely good if you're trying to join a friend up on the series.

Shin Chan is very well known by virtually everyone in Spain.
It was (is?) so insanely popular here that its author inserted the Spanish translator as an actual character in a handful of chapters/episodes where the Noharas visit Spain and he guides them.
Nowadays it's still "core anime" in Spain, up there with Dragon Ball and Doraemon, in the sense that everyone has watched it.
