He hasn't realized.
He contemplates the possibility, but also thinks she could just be seeing him as a close friend given how she fawns over her other friends. His "inner self" (the MC from KimiOku) basically tells him that Yamada is like that with her girl friends, so maybe he needs to be more guy like (I think, I wasn't reading closely). Thus, he starts exercising.
But yeah he's still in denial.

Well the translations (just translations, not typeset chapters) have been caught up for a year, at the very least.
Just saying, if you're going to do a call out make it an accurate one. There was always a gap, there were indeed problems, and in the last few months we've nearly caught up. I really hate the "omg the extras slow them down" bs. They're always just 1-3 pages, the actual hang up is always the actual chapters, and previously (though not presently) people being too busy to work on stuff, to the point that at least twice I did say I'd just dump translations if nothing was done. Eventually a fire was finally lit under asses/people got free time.

I'm not the user you first replied to. And typesetting is quite literally the easiest part of the entire scanlating/translating process, besides like proofreading or quality checking if you want to even count those, so it's absurd that it's still behind after so long.

Correct. My counterpoint is that we're finally not behind, though even I'll admit it's obvious that we could have been caught up even by last month, and I've said more than once "if you actually want to catch up do xyx" but /shrug
