YES.
No because Australian prices are unaffordable.
I remember being on a trip in Australia. In one of the LCS the price was nearly double the American MRP. RIP.
I'd like to support authors but it just takes up too much space
And that's for the mainstream stuff that's easy to find. It's double that for anything I'd consider buying.
Nausicaa cost me almost $100 which was a good price, Summit of the Gods drained me $200.
Whenever i'm in Japan i buy some of the mangas i REALLY liked since the last time, to support the authors.
Reposting my shit from the last times this thread has been made.
Waiting on another shipment from BookOff for more

Man the biscuit hammer Volumes are OOP. The scans aren't bad but i hope to reread them in print.
Any particular reasons for that? Are they just the LCS or even Amazon?
I live in India and while the stores themselves don't sell manga but I can buy the English version (imported by local sellers) from online retail stores for cheaper than MRP. They're the American version. Regular Viz Shonenshit costs me around $5 for a new copy. In case it isn't imported already, i have to pay bit more but it's almost always cheaper than retail.
I read everything online and if I really liked a series I will buy a single volume from it as a memory
No, because the shipping costs are disgusting. Easier just to read shit on my vertical monitor or e-reader.
yeee
I believe the non-japanese and English ones are French?
I'm super jelous of you guys?
*guys.
Greed and shipping costs. LCS don't do well here and not many people use Amazon. It's not the store fault usually, it's the exporters and publishers.
no, because the english versions are always shit and i'm too stupid to read moonrunes
Hearing ya user; I'm deadset on getting the Berserk deluxe editions and prices fluctuate wildly per volume between $60ish and $90ish
That's some nice Akira user, how's the quality?
I looked into Blame master edition and it's $60 a volume. For paperback.
stop making this thread, faggot
Not OP but they are in the original right to left format with New Translations. Comes along with a Akira art club book with several illustrations from Otomo.
Before anyone asks, no you can't buy them individually, you have to get the entire set unless it's used.
Better than shipping, moe and Shonenshit threads.
Yes. Another and Solanin are in English, the restg is either French or Japanese.
>too poor to purchase manga
Would recommend checking out Atsushi kaneko and minetaro mochizuki stuff. I believe some frenchbro is actually translating(or retranslating) some manga from French->English.
>$340
noooooooo
Does anyone have the Death Note all-in-one? Is it any good, or is it too big and cumbersome to actually read? Found it for $40 and tempted to get it, but just thinking that it's too fucking unwieldy
Nope. It isn't even worth to keep in the shelf. I can't read anything beyond a 3in1 omnibus and that shit is 12in1.
Of course.
$227 According to bookdepository bookdepository.com
But you can get it cheaper if you know where to find.
$340 in Australian dollarydoos; book depository is $400 plus int. shipping
only of they're shorter than 10 volumes and they aren't available to read online, but I agree that reading on paper is a lot better
