Even if they nuked him thrice over he could devote the next 100,000 years into single-handedly turning their villages into slightly smooth patches of land not even mentioned in history books, just through a never ending stream of always being there making things slightly worse behind the scenes
Orochimaru is a low high' tier threat (mid-kage), but for the fact that he reincarnates and therefore can't be removed from the game completely. He is even better at it than the more advanced aliens and have multiple copies scattered around.
Thoughts on his first 'death'/fight with Sasuke?
I found it weird how Sasuke was on one hand hyped up for all his kills in mid-shippuden, but it was also acknowledged that his opponents were sick at the same time.
Felt forced. I knew one of the most influential character wouldn't die in such a lame way.
It started the Sasuke wankery that would be the spotlight of the story until the war took over, so I don't see it in a positive light.

Sasuke wasn't wanked, he lost tons of fights.
Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi were already a thing in Part I, though not really expanded upon, especially the former. Susanoo was the biggest upgrade and even then we witnessed it get broken so many times during the Kage summit while Itachi's first appearance made it look like the ultimate Jutsu.

So he only lost the gauntlet with some of the most powerful Shinobi alive at the time, and he wasn't after them, he got to kill Danzo in the end.
His plot armor to escape Deidara when he said he was out of Chakra was absolute BS. Danzo similarly was written like a retard spamming Izanagi and only using one or two powerful Jutsu (his summon was pretty powerful) despite him having access to Wood release, lots of sealing Jutsu and presumably other powerful Wind types.
Just wanted to add to this, since in all of his fights he would've gotten wrecked if his opponent wasn't outnumbered, or weakened or retarded. This is textbook wankery.

I unironically think that Orochimaru will be hokage some day. Naruto's revisionary history with Orochimaru being a Sannin and his service in the 2nd and 4th ninja wars and continuing research will make him a top tier candidate. As hokage he will bring back hardcore Chunin Exams and have forbidden techniques taught at the academy.

Orochimaru has won the game of immortality because he just doesn't care about those kinds of existential questions. The "original" orochimaru was turned into his own experiment and became a snake monster that can vomit out a clone and the old body dies. He does backups of his consciousness that can birth him again. He can get sealed by the Totsuka blade, doesn't matter. The only goal is to ensure that a version of himself exists that can learn everything. Once desperate and spiteful, he has now ascended and is absolutely chill having left humanity behind.

Naruto will definitely become a cyborg to keep up with alien eight paths nonsense. Sasuke should just train intensely with the rinnegan because the Asura Path gives you cyborg powers anyway.

There's a short time frame to use the rinnegan to summon the king of hell and revive the dead from the pure land. Specifically you're taking a body and healing it, then letting the soul inhabit it again. The only reason Nagato even was able to bring back everyone he killed was because the slug Katsuya shielded everyone and kept the bodies in decent enough shape. 30 year old corpse remains fed to the king of hell might work but the souls could have just reincarnated or not respond no matter how much chakra you pump into it. Sasuke hasn't remotely mastered the Naraka Path necessary to either.

Considering Madara's original plan involved him being revived by Nagato I don't think physical bodies and decay are such an issue. Plus during the war he was revived through a reanimation, a false body that simply housed his soul (how does this make sense when Rinne Tensei involves giving back a soul I do not know).
