What are your thoughts on it?
Did you understand everything?

I got much more kino out of it than I expected going in

What makes FP so good is that there is nothing, and I mean nothing, quite like it. The panelling is masterful and the art is great aswell. This is a perfect example of a great manga that would be mediocre as an anime. It utilizes the medium perfectly. Fire Punch is the most "manga" a manga will ever be.
8.5/10

You should read Kaiju 8 next

I love that you can see the rushed chapters. One chapter is drawn very poorly and the next one is something like this.

Picked up because of memes, finished because of great plot and art. I'm not expecting anime adaptation, though, since it would take a director with a vision to transcribe this to animation and also a decent budget, but the title isn't nearly hyped enough

An anime is confirmed apparently

Shill me on this

Why the fuck do you faggots love this shit so much. Its been fucking months.

What the fuck is it about and why is it good

Can you faggots elaborwte without saying memewords like it was KINO or filter, or se generic shit? Its commendable, over a hundred threads of this and I have no idea what it is about. Dont even knoelw the guy. Hes immune to flake or turns into thr human torch or something?

Some interesting moments but a 4/10.

No. Bugger off

It's shit and a shitty forced meme to get you to read something that's shit. You'll get no explanation besides Zig Forums buzzwords. You shouldn't be surprised by this because Fire Punch is Zig Forums's sneed.

Read it and find out yourself , fag .

Its definitely something special but its hard to pin down why - movie girls character would definitely be a high point. Confident, wise, nihilistic and tough - connects the reader to a world full of extreme douchebags and takes care of the narration

it's a meme

You speedread the thread, post above explain why they like it

Yeah, that's literally the vibe I get from it, thanks user.

Keep wasting your times on shitty manga. Not like you guys have anything else to do, so have fun kids

Yeah, with buzzwords and memes. "i like it because theres quite nothing like it", jesus christ.

Sneed was actually funny though. And it gets new stuff like sneedcat This has never been anything but forced.

"Bugger off" are you 8 years old?

I wish people would stop spamming THAT face. You know the one.
After reading Fire Punch, I realized it's nothing more than his coomer face seeing his "sister" do cosplay. Has literally nothing to do with the rest of the manga and is just a gag. Only retards spam it.

You should read it without knowing anything about it.
It's good because it's unique and kinda wacky at times, but also really fucking dark. The "power system" is well explored.
Ignore the retarded memers, they're a disservice to the manga.

It was pretty trash to be honest. There were some cool panels but the plot wasn't anything special. Chainsaw Man is the superior work from the same author.

People have explained again and again why FP is good.
Feel free to look into the archive and see posts like mine in pretty much all of them.

The gist of it is that Fujimoto took inspiration from Tom Cruise's life and created a character driven story around the concept of "character roles". Roles that people put upon you, roles that you put upon yourself, roles you discard, roles you accidentally acquire. That's the red string that goes from ch1 all the way to ch83, not only with Aki but with every single other character too.
At this point, the people shitting on FP are bigger shitposters than the Agni spammers. It's a 83 chapter manga that literally spells out the core theme at you in the middle of it, it is literally written for a teenager audience. Yet presumably adults sit here still don't understand any of it.
There are so many cocksuckers on Zig Forums that cannot form a coherent argument as to why they don't like it, because even if they had read it, it completely flew over their head. It's not deep, it's not pretentious, but it's following a single goal and does it well.
It's not a perfect manga. It's not 10/10. It has many glaring flaws. But the thing it set out to do, that's where it exceeds. Watching Agni go from hero to villain to god and everything in between, Judah being a parallel of Agni and many things more. That's why it's good.

It's been years.

It's literally only 83 chapters long. You could read it in 2 days max

looking forward for thge cgi fire

>After reading Fire Punch, I realized it's nothing more than his coomer face seeing his "sister" do cosplay. Has literally nothing to do with the rest of the manga and is just a gag. Only retards spam it.
This is why so many Fire Punch readers get filtered. Because they just don't know how to think.
In the run of the manga Agni gets pushed and pulled into different roles, from hero, to villain, to god, murderer etc.
At this point of the story he accidentally calls an amnesiac woman by the name of his dead sister. She goes along with it. And so does he.
He fakes a smile and goes along with it. She is now his sister. He knows it's fake. But fake happiness is better than none.
"Acting" is a central theme of Fire Punch, and this is the point where Agni embraces it and learns how to deceive himself. Or at least he tries to.
In the chapters afterward, he becomes eerily good at acting and manipulating everyone around him. Telling lies about himself and his intentions. Up to that point, Agni was a very simple man. This is his turning point.

In short, "The Face" is complex. It is an amalgam of multiple emotions and portrays a very broken man who has gone insane years ago, and it illustrates the moment he takes the next step of insanity.

There's a difference?

Attached: Don't die, Aki.jpg (496x743, 85.1K)

God forbid

The worst thing about this misunderstanding of the page is that in the same volume Agni has flashbacks to his childhood where he fakes a smile for his sister.
>what a forced smile
It's baffling how people don't understand the point of the face and what it signified.

Out of context it looks funny. In context it's a good portrayal of inner conflict. Agni knows it's wrong, but he can't stop himself.
