How the hell did the author fuck this up so hard? Naruto convinces Neji that "fate doesn't mean shit" and that "you just have to try hard enough!". Yeah... meanwhile, Naruto has a powerful Kyubi inside of him that gives him an unfair advantage over everyone else, AND he's the child of a prophecy! That is literally proving Neji RIGHT! And if that wasn't already bad enough, how does Neji die? BY DEFENDING HINATA!
How the hell did the author fuck this up so hard...
killin off neji was a mistake
*everything after the first part was a mistake
>Naruto has a powerful Kyubi inside of him that gives him an unfair advantage over everyone else, AND he's the child of a prophecy! That is literally proving Neji RIGHT
no it's not because Neji said that you were destined by birth to be on a set path
Naruto proved Neji wrong multiple times
by not letting the Kyuubi get to him or letting the villagers get to him from Neji's POV Naruto should've snapped like he was fated to
or being the destined one, Naruto went against that by not killing Sauce like the sage said he was going to
Neiji was right, fate cant be changed.
The thing is that Naruto's fate was bright and promising despite his misfortunes.
I actually feel bad for neiji though.
true
That's just proving Neji right though. Naruto was gifted from birth, and everything he did was proof of that.
the Sage out right said Naruto didn't get anything from his parents
and if you say the Kyuubi, arguably that's more of a drawback and than an advantage until he finally got control of it after working hard at it
bullshit, he has that Uzumaki chakra
Which hurt him more because the more Chakra you have the more control you need to have over it
ie. Naruto trying and failing to do a basic clone jutsu because he had too massive reserves
instead Naruto played it smart and worked on his strengths and stamina once he figured it out like Lee who decided to put all of his time into Taijutsu
it took Naruto a long time to get control over his Chakra and even then it's still shakey
Naruto could summon thousands of shadow avatars without drawback, meanwhile most ninja can barely summon a few without risking death.
Tell me again how Uzumaki chakra sucks.
Well nigger
Shadow clones were a forbidden jutsu that almost no one had access to, Uzumaki Chakra sucks if you're trying to be a normal Shinobi doing the normal process
Naruto found what worked for him and went with it even then he bleeds Chakra like a knifed pig, no different than Lee who got the 8 gates handed to him
The real problem was the fact Kishimoto had, and I think still does have, awful sense of priorities when it comes to his characters.
Like look at Luffy and Ichigo, maybe even Goku. You think any of them would have given any shits about Neiji's BS about Destiny? No, they'd go 'You tried to kill your cousin who looks up to you, you're fucked in head, I'm going to punch you until you're unfucked.'
Naruto instead opts to fall right into Neiji's insane ramblings that are somehow supposed to justify attempting to murder not only a fellow village member but fellow clan member.
They were both right you fucking mongoloid. Christ I understand Zig Forums is full of retards but is this really such a hard concept?
>Neji says you're bound by fate. The moment your born everything is set in stone from that point forward.
Everyone thought Naruto was just some ticking time bomb. Nobody took his dream of being homage seriously except maybe Hiruzen, iruka-sensei and Kakashi. Naruto was destined to be a WMD that was hated by everyone.
>Naruto said that fate doesn't mean shit and people can become whatever they want. Nobody is great or terrible just because of bloodlines or birthright, you make your life in your own way
Naruto WAS the child of prohpechy, propped up by his lineage stretching back generations. But he worked for that path, he damn near killed himself multiple times trying to achieve that goal. He could have sat and moped on that swing his whole life, he could have given into his anger and sadness like Gaara did, he could have been the monster that everyone thought he was. But he didn't, because he rejected that fate wholesale
Neji was right that destiny will always play a factor but Naruto was also right that the individual decisions each person makes has a greater effect on their life than any amount of genetics ever could
eh he barely used the nine tails in that fight. Only advantage was extra chakra
You're just being obstinate because you want to be. Naruto has shit tier chakra control as a kid. It's actually pretty much bottom of the barrel until he learns sage mode at My. myoboku, which requires excellent chakra control by default. He was able to perform the shadow clone jutsu because that jutsu SPECIFICALLY benefits from having massive amounts of chakra pumped into it, just like the rasengan does.
Naruto couldn't perform the basic bitch clone jutsu because he was trying to control his chakra. Like trying to force a waterfall into a thimble. He excelled at shadow clones because each shadow clone takes a total percentage of his chakra, with its own ability to exert individual control. So now he can break up that waterfall into 1000 smaller waterfalls and focus on filling each thimble individually.
This also before factoring in the shitty seal that was ruining his chakra network to begin with and the unstable, corrupting influence of the kyuubi that was turning the aforementioned waterfall into radioactive magma
True
>Naruto was gifted from birth
This
>caring
His chakra control was shit because he was a lazy shmuck who never worked hard in his academy days, he just ate ramen, pulled pranks and watched porn. He graduated without knowing what the fuck chakra even is.
Some small question from a guy that doesn't read Naruto since.... 2012????? I can'axtually remember.
By the way, here's the questions:
>why the entire village acted as a bunch of assholes over the son of their savior just because he was turned into the Container of the fox demon?
And also
>where the "raykageXhinata" memes came from and why? Is because he is black?
Neji was right
Kishimoto CAN'T WRITE
>by not letting the Kyuubi get to him or letting the villagers get to him
He was possessed by Kurama in THAT fight and his entire dream is based around the villagers not accepting him
>He graduated without knowing what the fuck chakra even is.
Like how the hell do you even mess up that bad. Even the dumbest inner city kids know what addition is even if they can't do it.
>He was possessed by Kurama in THAT fight
no he wasn't speedreader and you know it
I don't know how people still miss the entire point of his argument with Naruto to this day. People always generalize it as "Hard work vs. natural talent" but that wasn't what his philosophy was at all. Neji's deal was being hung up on destiny and believing that no matter what you did your choices didn't matter because your lot in life was already determined. You could be born with all the natural talent in the world but if it was your destiny to die then nothing you did would change that and vice-versa. He grew up thinking that he would have to die for the Main Branch because that was what destiny dictated for him and he had no say in it. Except he was proven wrong when his father chose to die for his uncle, showing that it's still one's own choices that lead the way to their destiny. This comes back again during the War where he chooses to sacrifice himself to save Hinata even though he didn't have to in that moment. But he wanted to protect her, so even though his destiny of dying for the Main Branch was fulfilled, it wasn't because he had no say in things. In the end, it's your own choices that lead to your "destiny".
It still applies to Naruto as well. Even though Naruto is practically Ninja Jesus, they beat you over the head multiple times that he could have given up at any time and quit or died way before realizing his true potential. Or he could have just went down a different path entirely which again they beat you over the head with by comparing him to Sasuke/Gaara/Nagato/Pain in very hamfisted monologues. Naruto earned very little on his own. It was only after people started reaching out to him and actually spending time with him that he started to grow and get to where he eventually got to.
Like shit, Naruto isn't a deeply written series at all by any means but people still misinterpret this simple thing the most.
>Why did everyone hate Naruto?
This is headcannon-y since the actual stated reasons are most " they just did". I think it's much the same reason that everyone hated Gaara, despite him being the Kazekage's son and "the sands greatest weapon". Naruto was the reason the village lost its greatest hero, Minato and by all accounts, the last member of the Uzumaki clan (I don't think anyone really knows about Karin and we never hear about other Uzumakis). Combine this with the incredible loss that the village suffered at the hands of Kurama it makes sense that they would direct their ire to the demons new vessel. I don't think anyone hated Naruto himself, at least originally, they hated the thing inside him. But over time, as Naruto acted out for attention, the villagers began to hate the child, perhaps thinking the monster was taking control and would be set free.
So here you have this rotten little brat with a walking nuclear chakra bomb of evil inside of him, hanging out in your neighborhood. You don't know if he can infect you or your children with that evil chakra, you don't know if he'll get mad playing tag or something and kill someone and to top it all off, this snot nosed little shit survived at the cost of your greatest protector.
You don't have to agree with it, but I think this justifies their hatred a bit more
>Implying it wasn't his destiny to choose death
Neji didn't know about the fox so he didn't expect the upset.
Having the fox was a bad thing at the time though so it doesnt mean anything.
This. I'll add that Naruto is about his journey to become hokage and how he achieves strength through comradery. Despite seeming to best you over the head with the zero to hero story I don't think that was the point of the story so much as a consequence of it.
I have no problem with naruto having the kyubi, he got a shit childhood because of it, so it balanced out. But the child of prophesy is bullshit, that means no matter what, he was destined for greatness. Oh but wait, it gets better, he was also the reincarnation of Asura fighting a cycle of hate with the other reincarnated soul.
NEJI WAS RIGHT!
The Kyubi is an obvious metaphor for the hidden potential inside oneself. Naruto realizes this through his good nature and perseverance, which enables him to tame and control his hidden power. How could you miss this? It's the entire point of the series.
