Itachi should have stayed EVIL

Itachi being this super talented guy who went crazy and murdered his entire family to test his abilities was better than the whole “Hero in the shadows” bullshit

Itachi being “good” is shit written

Itachi is overrated but I agree that he shouldn't have been turned out as an anti-hero but rather still a villain who believed that his means justified his ends and desired a more dignified world that would end the instability and the wars but tries to do so on the blood of countless innocent. Him not being held responsible, especially for killing his family, after the final arc was fucking retarded.

Itachi's character is a total mess and his entire storyline is poorly written and filled with inconsistencies.

1.His actions contradict his intentions and all his plans failed yet he is the wisest person in the entire manga.

2.Itachi wants his brother to be a loyal leaf shinobi yet asks him to kill his best friend (who happens to be the jinchhurki of the village). Still, telling your brother to murder a kid, jinchuriki or not, is EVIL

3.He also sees the curse mark and knows about Orochimaru's sharingan obsession yet does nothing about it, in fact, Itachi is the only reason Sasuke defected to Orochimaru.

4. For 3 years Itachi knew Sasuke was training with Orochinaru. He knew he was in extreme danger of being assimilated by Oro at any moment and didn’t give a shit.

5. Even Naruto totally forgets once Kisame was literally about to cut his leg which Itachi was totally fine with

6. Lets not forget how he raped Kakashi’s mind for days with an extremely cruel genjutsu, and he and Kisame were about to kidnap him so they could interrogate him, torture him again and drop his dead body in a ditch somewhere

7. He did the same thing with Sasuke. Tortured him TWICE, broke his arm and kicked the living shit out of him like a dog.

8. He is supposed to be a “double agent” in Akatsuki, but never does anything against the interests of the organization, he helps them openly capturing Jinchurikies (even though he knew Pain would use the bijuus to nuke the villages) and never gave the Hidden leaf any intel.

9. Never gave intel about Pain/Madara

Itachi's character basically:

>"Sasuke u bitch, take that Tsukuyomi and watch how i killed all of our clan. Take that trauma u hoe, and don't forget to kill your best friend if u wanna become strong"

>Itachi later on: "That's not what i meant, i didn't want to turn u into a criminal ... I will always love u

Unconvincing and dull storywriting with badly written retcons.

Lmao, what the fuck was Kishi thinking?

Oof, speedreader

Itachi defeated Oro with a regular tomoe sharingan which Sasuke also had so there was little to worry about and Itachi probably knew about Oros body transfer limitations from his time as an Akatsuki member.

Naruto isn't a whiny faggot.
>6
Probably let out some of his aggression on him and Kakashi was fine afterwards

Speed to the reader

Didn't capture any Bijuu himself (Kisame caught Son Goku). Itachi revealed the existence of Akatsuki, a highly dangerous organization of which only Jiraiya had knowledge to Konoha.

Orochimaru was even worse, he literally got away with everything.

He's the necessary evil, given an ultimatum
Only idiots would defend his actions
He took the fall, suffered for it and it ruined it his life and his relationships, wiped the clan out, be branded an outlaw for life

>Itachi defeated Oro with a regular tomoe sharingan

One of the most massive asspulls in the whole series. I don’t even remember watching it in the Manga so I don’t even know if it’s cannon.

It is in the manga.

Orochimaru should have been final villain.

Itachi should have been Sasukes stepping stone to maturity and higher power.

Naruto should have watched Jiraiya die as his formative experience.

Sharingan hacks should never have happened.

No fucking alien bullshit either.

It happens in the manga too, pic related.

Itachi was very skilled with Sharingan genjutsu and genjutsu as a whole is incredibly powerful due to lack of counters. Genjutsu was also how Itachi defeated Deidara.

God damn. Kishi jerked off Itachi beyond comprehension.

Itachi needed to be very strong otherwise Sasuke would have wasted his time training to get stronger than him. He also murdered a large portion of his clan which isn't something a weakling can do.

>Itachi needed to be very strong otherwise Sasuke would have wasted his time training to get stronger than him
lmao do you mean when sasuke fails to do so ???
>He also murdered a large portion of his clan which isn't something a weakling can do.
yeah look at that child only hokage level can do that (most people that he killed are civilians)

I like to think Itachi had to stab each baby in their cradles during the massacre

>Orochimaru should have been final villain.
And what's the point in that when Orochimaru was already powercrept by an old 3rd Hokage?
>Itachi stepping stone for Sasuke
He was just that.
>Naruto should have watched Jiraiya die
And then be killed by the Pains immediately?
>Sharingan hacks
Already happened at the very beginning of Naruto.
>Aliens
Not bullshit, a lot of Naruto was inspired by Japanese folklore.

>lmao do you mean when sasuke fails to do so ???
Itachi was rougly Kage level which Sasuke had reached at that point. It paid out.
>Most people killed
They're ninjas that kill. What do you expect? You sound like a faggot.

the implication that either itachi spared his brother but killed other kids or sasuke was the only kid in the village are beyond retarded

Madara should've stayed alive

>Itachi is overrated
overrated doesn't exist

The entire final fight between Naruto and Sasuke is framed around their wildly different interpretations of Itachi. The 'hokage in the shadows' never existed because Itachi was damned by his choices. He had no connection to the village and tried to manipulate things from afar or without the knowledge of others. His character is a clusterfuck and that's fine, it shows that just being a genius in the Naruto universe doesn't mean you can transcend your circumstances. In Itachi's case he never broke out of the ideal of ninja as tools. All of his actions had to be justified in a system set up so that people like him would do the most damage despite their best intentions.

I like Itachi, even as a hero, so I try not to think about these things with the understanding that he was basically a giant retcon. But the fact that Itachi Tsukuyomi'd Sasuke as like a 12 year old while telling him he "doesn't have enough hatred" is by itself enough to make that blindingly obvious.

Based. Itachi is truly the solo king.

nice analysis

Kish fucked up really bad

It’s been five years

He was never evil in first place lol

your post has a lot of incosistencies actually... Itachi wanted Sasuke to become stronger thats why he tortured him, a person that knows pain becomes stronger. Of course he wouldn't give any intel to the hidden leaf are you stupid?..

Plus, the time he went to the hidden leaf with Kisame he retreated because he didn't want any trouble with them, if he did want to, they would likely be dead by now.

He helped capture the tailed beasts to fool Madara into thinking he was following his plan.. He gave Sasuke the Amaterasu only to kill Madara, but unfortunately failed.

He put Kakashi in the genjutsu, again, just to fool them and make them think he was evil, but it was justa a genjutsu, didn't even hurt him at all

YOU FUCKED UP DUDE, PAY ATTENTION

>Orochimaru should have been final villain.
- Madara

>Itachi should have been Sasukes stepping stone to maturity and higher power.
- sure

>Naruto should have watched Jiraiya die as his formative experience.
- no, but, Kockinasshe should have remained dead.

>Sharingan hacks should never have happened.
- most of the hacks...

>No fucking alien bullshit either.
- agreed

Itachi only cared about the hidden leaf thats why he helped capture the tailed beast, but most of all he always tried to avoid war, thats why he murdered his clan

He still is evil. Is mass murder ever justified? Definitely not in this case, if you ask me

same dude
