Why do I bet that this year will be the same as last year? Isayama said it would end last year and it didn't. This year he said there's only 5% left, meaning only chapters 130-135. And when we get up to chapter 134 everyone's gonna be losing their shit thinking there's one chapter left, and voila, he announces there's another volume and it'll actually end next year kek. At this point I feel like he's doing it on purpose to keep his mentally retarded readers on their toes.
And despite us being at chapter 130 the pacing is still slow. All the cringevengers do is fight lame battles that conveniently go their way without a single casualty or a even a scratch on anybody but the shifters, and when they're done they have emotional soliloquies that feel a little bit unrealistic. I'd prefer Isayama to show people emotions and opinions through actions, not drama induced outbursts every chapter.

Here's a plot theme for you people to discuss for a change, in order to take a rest from your long shitposting streak on shipping discussions. A particular point has been building up since chapters 125 and 126, and we actually saw some of it earlier in chapter 110, the theme of the people in Paradis. It feels like Isayama wanted to portray that average people are bad everywhere in the world. Thus the whole "on the Island, outside, we're all the same". Remember the ugly ass depiction of the Paradisians in chapter 126? The Yeagerists during the execution of Boyega were depicted as bigoted and murderous, nothing more than a bloodthirsty mob. And this chapter we had a panel where a bunch of Marleyans were trying to beat up or kill Mehmet. Now tying this up with the whole theme of Eren referring to the slave traffickers as animals, it seems to me like Isayama does not want just one side to win and the other to lose. This really leads me to think something bad will happen back on Paradis. Somehow Paradis will get the shaft, either by getting sky bombed or some other way. Thoughts?

How about the confrontation during the execution, or Gabi shooting Nile's titan without a scratch on her ass? Or Connie and Armin settling the dispute over Falco with no harm done despite Armin jumping inside a titan mouth? Either way one battle is enough to portray the lack of realism if not a single character who's mortal has to much as a scratch when there's thunderspears flying and people being chopped to pieces.

Ridding the Shinganshina main building from the leftover titans, Gabi saving Kaya, breaking Onyankopon and Yelena out of getting executed kinda count as battles.

Oh and I forgot to add Hanji and unconscious manlet being pursued without Hanji ever packing a single bullet in her leg or arm, not even so much as getting scratched or hurt while running away.
