I'm just going to ask here since I don't want to make a thread and this seems like a FKMT thread in disguise anyway.
What's the deal with the Zero series? I finished both parts and I enjoyed it a lot but it's been seven years and no part 3. Is it just not going to happen bros?

How did you even win at this game?

>What's the deal with the Zero series?
Cancelled
>I finished both parts and I enjoyed it a lot but it's been seven years and no part 3. Is it just not going to happen bros?
Never ever. After the last part of Kaiji, where he gets all of Hyodo's money and ends up becoming one of the rich fuckers putting people in hellish games

Majhong is a garbage, unfun game. It's the worst parts of Cribbage and Gin Rummy all tied up in a stupid rules-lawyer bow.

How many of your fingers did the yakuza break, user?

>he doesn't feel the flow
Sad

>seems like a FKMT thread in disguise anyway.
I actually wanted to see if others had images that rang true when watching or reading things, but I guess this is fine too.

>cancelled
Fuck. That's sad. It was a really fun series for me and it seemed like it was about to head into its most fun arc.
>spoiler
I honestly can't tell if you're kidding. I've only read the first two parts of Kaiji.

What's wrong? some guy yakuman'd you?

No, but Yakuman are a garbage mechanic anyway. They're not even saved by the ability to bluff like the really good poker hands are.

Why would I play Mahjong when I could play Phase fucking 10 and get the same experience

Why would you be in this thread instead of a phase fucking 10 thread, whatever that is, and get a pleasant experience.

LOL. Happened to me at Minesweeper several times; if I'd been Kaiji playing this game, I'd have lost all my fingers AND toes.

Minesweeper in general?
Uncover every tile that is not a mine
Flags don't matter at all.

That particular situation?
You guess
Depending on the density of total tiles vs mines most minesweeper games have a chance of randomly placing mines such that the clues are insufficient to say with certainty. Much in the same way that not every solitaire game is winnable.
The ideal strat if you want a fast time (the closest thing to a high score in Minesweeper) is to as soon as you identify a 50/50 like that, is just to guess as fast as possible. (Assuming it is a true 50/50 and not somewhere in the middle of the board where coming from the other side could get you more info)
Worrying about it doesn't help you and costs you time. If you are right you don't have to think about it any more and can keep going.
If you are wrong you just would have wasted more of your time on a losing game if you put off guessing and came back later, so you can more quickly move on to the next, hopefully winnable, game.

So what's happening with the sequel to the legend of koizumi? Is it worth reading it?

I was waiting for that bait. Ron. Mangan.

Me in the picture.

>big three dragons
>not daisangen

Really? There's riichi players out there who willingly say the translated yaku names?

This image comes to my mind when reading that Teru's rinshan kaihou scene.

You got a problem with reach, one-shot, all simples, all sequences?

Not him but that honestly sounds uncouth. If you're going to play Riichi Mahjong I'm of the opinion that you should use the Japanese terms.

What's next, instead of "chi" saying "swipe"? Or instead of "ron" saying "call"? Or "bingo"? Nonsense.

It should've been a turning point for the series, but then it immediately got downplayed.
