My guess is that he controls elements, and that each finger is a different element. The cutting might be wind, and if you take a look at the bases of some of his other fingers, you can notice they all have different natural elements to them

Ah, good to know. Thought I might have somehow missed it. Then it’s a weird choice they decided to make her hair green. Not that I hate it, just find it an odd thing to change.

I was hoping that the slicy dicy attacks he'd done until now were just raw curse energy being projected out.

There's still some trick involved with how he's generating the flame. But this more or less confirms that the historically recorded ability of Sukuna is to slice shit up.

Sukuna must have basic elemental manipulation based on him manipulating Jogo’s fire. Even his slice n dice technique could just be manipulating air. And his resistance to poison could imply he can also use poison. But he needs something more to his technique to be considered the King of Curses.

Yeah, Sukuna isn't strictly a villain in Jap myth. There's accounts of being a hero, like the dragon slaying here. Also, if I remember correctly, Ryomen Sukuna isn't a singular being, but a group of beings or something. So a whole bunch of 4-armed, 2 faced weirdos.
