ive learned that white rice just cooks better, I can never get brown rice to turn out properly, it always comes out hard as a rock and doesn't reheat well at all

Rice is such a basic flavor that it goes with practically any meat/veggie based meal. It's also very filling for how cheap rice is, so you'll eat smaller portions of the more expensive meats and not enjoy your meals any less. However, rice can be difficult to cook on stovetop, dependent on how you like your rice. So, for how small and inexpensive they are, rice-cookers are a great appliance for meal making and money saving.

Hey pals try this: put a nice fat tomato and a pinch of salt in the rice cooker before you turn it on. Very good. Add onions sauce and eggs... tasty stuff
