How many GB of anime do you have downloaded in your computer?
How many GB of anime do you have downloaded in your computer?
Depends if you count ones I've deleted already. Probably in the terabytes by now.
6 TB
Oh wow I only have downloaded about 500GB and I only have around 600GB left. Might start buying pen-drives only for anime.
>GB
I haven't had that little in years
'bout three fiddy
I delete everything I didn't really like or feel like I won't rewatch and transfer the other ones on an external hard drive so only 70 GB at the moment.
my laptop only has 120 gb of storage and i stream all the anime i watch on kissanime. idk why you'd download it desu, unless u have a lap top w a really good battery and like to go camping a lot which would be goals desu
Just bought an external hard drive to keep all my shit on and when i transferred everything over it was around 290GB
2.3 tb, saving more for HDDs
Downloaded? Maybe a gig
Ripped from Blu-rays? Over a TB
70GB from about 600 episodes. I started bulk downloading in late 2019, x265 is a godsend but I'll need an external Hard drive in about 6 months.
>70GB from about 600 episodes.
Wow I downloaded Utena and it was like 74GB I think
i probably should stop downloading those 1GB per episode anime
>Might start buying pen-drives only for anime.
hope you mean external drives with Petabytes of storage
I stream all my anime
About 8TB.
Uuuh maybe a TB. I delete what I don’t want to rewatch of course, and what I do want to rewatch I keep it.
Is that even possible? What a waste, it could be 1/8 the size and lose no quality.
no
Probably, still download it that way to take the best quality screencaps of the show
4+ TB of anime
6+ TB of manga
>lose no quality.
Fuck you, I like grain.
6TB of manga
0. I watch on streaming sites because I feel like it.
this but unironically, I'm not a richfag who just has storage space up the asshole, I gotta scrounge for each byte I got
Hoarding anime is a stupid idea. I just had to redownload hundreds of gigabytes of 8 bit files to 10 bit files because sub groups released them in more efficient file sizes. In 10 years from now there will be a new data compression method and each episode will only be 100kb for 4k resolution. All your hoarding is a waste of time
You a cop?
And what if internet piracy becomes more heavily restricted?
Sure, most things will be saved but how easily will you be able to get Grenadier? It's about convenience.
Try living in a nonshit country.
4 GB
I'm a pretty hardcore anime enthusiast though. Not everyone will have this much
It's not really hoarding, just good to have on hand for stuff like screenshots, webms, or if you have friends over
4TB and counting that I run on a private stream server for the homies
America owns the internet dude. There are exceptions but if the trend goes majorly against piracy there won't be much of a safe port
12TB on my media server, and another 8TB in external drives.
>Can instantly watch terabytes of anime I've downloaded with no lag or buffering anytime I want
Definitely a wasted effort because omg what will I do when a better compressed release drops?????????
I just delete things when I’m done watching them and redownload if I feel like rewatching. Kind of pleb I guess but I have limited space and don’t feel like buying more.
