It is how all coins work, but exclusively for AMPL market cap is what matters most since in every rebase supply and price get adjusted.
When market cap goes up price goes up, but AMPL lowers the price when this happens and increases the amount of tokens you own.

Supply increases -> Price decreases by same amount = SAME FUCKING PRICE IN THE END

So essentially if only 2 coins at 1$ exist and you own 1 then you own 50% of the market cap

Ampl basically can split or contract depending on the size of its market cap to keep at a stable long term price.

So back to the example. Once the market cap goes from 2$ to 4$
The coin itself will split resulting a person with 50% of the market cap to have 2 coins instead of 1.

The goal essentially is for a person to buy in early then sell the coins they gain from rebaseing on the market
