Exactly half way through the show

>exactly half way through the show
>titular character STILL isn't a magical girl
What's with this show's pacing?

The point is that Madoka only becomes a magical girl at the very end; it's actually something that ties into the plot.

It's a deconstruction

Are you sure she’s not a magical girl?

Also, are you sure she’s the mC?

It's not a magical girl anime, it's an anime with magical girls

Watch it you fucking retard.

OP never said MC but titular character. Please rinse your eyes in bleach

Why didn't Homura stretch her vagina so Madoka could fit in whole, and then jump back in time?

???? She already became a magical girl. Don't you watch the OP?

this is the funniest post on this board this week

It would have been better with just 6 episodes. Excepct for the 1st, a few in the midle and the last ones it was all a filler.

The plot gets started 80% of the way in, it's all infodumps up to there. That last 20% is pretty good though.

>main villain is a dreidel

Antisemitic garbage

Found the retards.

OP's post was normal shortly after Madoka finished airing and people were cathing up.

Have you accepted that Rebellion is a perfect sequel to the series yet, Zig Forums?

Why didn't that retard simply wish for soul gems being incorruptible? You're still fucked eventually

No.
Have you accepted that Rebellion is trashy otaku-pandering cash-grab that is useless waste of effort?

It couldn't possibly be related to that one other character specifically preventing her from contracting
Almost as if that was the fucking point

No, kill yourself

Based

These threads are bait right? No one is actually watching madoka for the first time in 2020

I watched Eva for the first time this year

are you sure thats what you want?

I watched it two months ago

Its not perfect, but ive seen worse sequels drawn out from ips that wrapped up well

No.
I have accepted that Rebellion is even better than the series.

I fucking hate consoomer culture. Artists should just shoehorn bullshit sequels onto already finished franchises just for money. Gunbuster suffered from the same problem. A lot of stuff did.

Of course magireco poster is retarded
Stop defiling Kyouko

*shouldn't

>fucking retard
>wash your eyes out with bleach
>kill yourself
Such edge itt

Not like they have a choice.
Their contracts doesn't allow them to decline.
I can feel with Urobuchi. He clearly didn't want to make sequel, but was clearly forced to.

based newchad

Blame summer tourism.
Usually this place is full of love and understanding.

Madokas struggle wether to become a magical girl or not is one of the best parts in the show

I thought that at first too but after reading some interviews it turns out he actually liked Rebellion and even used thought of it as some kind of bridge work for spinoffs like MagiReco, and fanfiction. That's awfully similar to the Homestuck epilogues, honestly. I have no idea how he thought selling his franchise away like this was a good idea. He probably underestimates how good the main series is and just saw it as a cash cow. In that regard even the Eva Rebuilds are more acceptable, because there at least Anno knows it's shit

>after reading some interviews it turns out he actually liked Rebellion
Really.
From interviewes before Rebellion aired, it felt that he wasn't satisfied with it much.

Do you have a source?

That was years ago. Before Rebellion aired.
I rememenber something about 'the twist' being Urobuchi not having any ideas how to continue and Shinbo finishing it up.
And he explicitly says that he knows that Rebellion will be really devisive.
