Aka put her there to give us an idea how Tsubame became Ootomo's acquaintance.

Tsubame was probably the person who Ootomo ask for advice while she was in middle school. Because Tsubame was not aware of the truth about the Ogino incident at that time, she probably told Ootomo to stay away from Ishigami. Her advice made her partly responsible on how things ended up between Ootomo and Ishigami. It explains a lot why Tsubame is so determined on fixing things between the two after learning about the truth.

Replace Tsubame with Osaragi in your scenario and it would still somehow make sense.

What are you talking about? Osaragi is a wuss. Osaragi's encounter with Tsubame hints that Tsubame was a sempai who looks out for her Kouhai. Given the fact that Tsubame is in close relation with Ootomo even until now, It implies that Ootomo was one of the Kouhai Tsubame supports.

Just a little warning since some people were confusing things last thread.

We're on a break a magazine one due to a leftover Olympics holiday, chapter 196 is next, after that we'll get chapter another chapter, and then after 197 there's another break due to Obon I believe.

Since it's a magazine break, stores might stock up on the chapter earlier than normal, or at least that's how it usually goes, meaning we can get spoilers and full scans way sooner than Monday, potentially on Friday/Saturday.
