Out of all of Netflix's anime, which ones are actually good?
Out of all of Netflix's anime, which ones are actually good?
boku no pico
>netflex
All fucking trash
Get your Doro Hedoro'd, son. I haven't seen it because I don't have Netflix, but apparently it's good.
Also, Castlevania.
I have only used Netflix to watch anime on 2 occasions.
>Netflix's anime
Stop this shit. The overwheliming majority of those have nothing to do with Netflix, other than them buying up the overseas publishing rights.
Other than for very few exceptions, Netflix was in no way involved in their production nor did they even air on Netflix in Japan (instead opting for one of the actually relevant anime TV channels).
Bali, Kengan, Blame, Doro, Devilman, Castlevania...
Sucks because I wanted GITS to be good but it fucking sucked.
I heard VE was good but never watched it.
>Devilman
You mean Crybaby, not Devilman. And it was shit. Get a taste.
Why are anons convinced that Netflix
is a studio that produces these titles? It's a fucking distributor, one of many. You don't see anyone bitching about "Crunchyroll anime" do you?
Actual no reservations good:
Dorohedoro
Regular good, like a legit 7-8/10
devilman
id-0
saiki-k (since they scooped the last season of an already great show)
dragon pilot
kakegurui
average but not bad:
forest of piano
ajin
gokudolls
LWA
magi
violet evergarden
hi score girl
BNA
probably castlevania but i haven't finished it yet
Anything not listed i haven't watched and most of it is pure garbage.
It was good. The music was spot on, how the child ate his mother was fine, the ending was good. Wish the same team would do Violence Jack
>Netflix's anime
Also .
>The music was spot on
If the first thing that comes to mind in a visual and narrative medium is the music, then it's obviously not good as a whole.
Have you even read the manga?
awful taste.
The last time I read the manga I just got done fucking your mom. In an animated work, music adds to the atmosphere of the scene. Go back to the 1920s if you hate music and stop watching "talkies." Fucking nigger.
Kakegurui is fun and enjoyable despite being written like shit so maybe that one
>The last time I read the manga I just got done fucking your mom.
Do you haven't read it. Figured as much.
> In an animated work, music adds to the atmosphere of the scene. Go back to the 1920s if you hate music and stop watching "talkies." Fucking nigger.
And of course you completely missed the point. You can like the music all you want. I like the music. It's just that the rest of it was shit. And by immediately jumping to the music as your talking point and then going "the ending was fine" (which it wasn't if you compare it to what the ending meant in the manga) counts as an admission that you have no argument for why you think the anime as a whole was good.
>Gokudolls
8/10, hilarious show
>Violetto
5/10, good start but became too unbelievable and the last couple episodes were terrible
>Dorohedoro
9/10, loved it despite the cgi
>Aggretsuko
4/10
why is there so much fucking CG
Kengan Ashura was pretty good, LWA is also pretty nice although gets a bit boring near the end, F/Z and F/SN:UBW are both fucking top tier, Fate/Apocrypha is also pretty fun but less than zero and stay night, JoJo is also alright if you want a nobrainer
When Japan thinks of western audiences they think of CG, so they try to copy it to appeal to them even if they are dogshit.
Ninja Hattori-kun but they only have the shitty indian dub so don't bother.
I hear Gauko is also good but I haven't seen it yet.
7seeds if you can ignore the Gonzo quality
Isn't this image misleading because all Netflix has is exclusive streaming rights for these anime? They didn't work on most of them or finance any of them, yes?
Netflix is cheap.
>which it wasn't if you compare it to what the ending meant in the manga
Quit being a fucking autist and comparing an original take on the manga with an adaptation. Crybaby isn't supposed to be a direct 1:1 version of the manga. I liked the artstyle, the dialogue was great, the rapper was really clever, and the fucking music. By your own admission no one can like Akira or GITS because they deviate from the manga. You are just using a strawman for why you hated it and trying to project it onto other people. Your mother and I are really dissaponted in you.... You fucking nigger.
It is. See: Netflix shills like OP do this all the time, bringing legitimately good anime in disregard.
Only very few things on there had actual Netflix meddling, like the CG Saint Seiya, Yuasa Crybaby and CG GITS. (So only the worst of the worst.)
i enjoyed lwa, takagi is decent, aggretsuko is decent, violet evergarden is ok. most of these are just cheap 3dcg cashgrabs
Correct. Some of them are actually produced on Netflix and true "Originals" like Kengan Ashura, GITS, Devilman, Japan Sinks. Others are just streaming rights like Dorohedoro or VEG
This but unironically
They even translate anime into other languages using the English version as a base even though they're more than wealthy enough to pay for jap translators
they financed like 70% of those
>I liked the artstyle
So you have incredibly bad taste.
>the dialogue was great
No, it was not. Whom do you think you are fooling?
>the rapper was really clever
...
>By your own admission no one can like Akira or GITS because they deviate from the manga.
Deviating from the manga is not the problem, moron. Completely ruining all characters and themes of the manga is. Crybaby is not an adaptation. It's just a completely unrelated thing that uses the same names and some of the same plotpoints to tell an empty shell of a story.
Was magmell any good? I was interested in that but only saw the first couple episodes.

No, they did not. They financially contributed to maybe 20% of them and actually only sat in the production committee for maybe half a dozen.
Is this all they have now? Just "originals"? Cringe. But also
>streaming
t. newfag
holy kek
>Netflix's anime
You fucking idiotic dumbass. Netflix doesn't produce or create these titles.
>Just "originals"?
No. I believe they have more. But they only can slap that "Originals" label on the stuff they have bought some exclusive rights for. So nothing that streams anywhere else, airs on TV or sells disks can get that label (depending on each country, of course).
