I am currently binge rewatching the entire first season through the director cut's edition and I must admit I enjoy it far more than the first time, anyone else in this situation?

After watching the Re Zero anime, I got interested in the manga and then the WN.
The anime felt awesome at the time. But the Web Novel has so many awesome moments that the anime doesnt seem that good anymote.
Sadly, I dont think we are going to be seeing those awesome scenes in the anime because White Fox is seriously messing up the plot with cuts and whatnot.
