>they had the whole thing planned out from the first episode to the last one of the 5th season
Are there any other shows that come close to the brilliance of symphogear?
They had the whole thing planned out from the first episode to the last one of the 5th season
Symphogear threads just keep getting worse and worse.
lmfao
Lies,
They clearly didn't expect the show to be that popular beyond the first season, that's why they spent the next season removing Hibiki overpowered gimmick and quickly killed the priestest in a noble sacrifice.
Then they realized they added too many characters and didn't have the gut to kill them or depower them anymore.
Hibiki didn't have enough hands to hold them all anymore so they just played the "let's give her all our power".
By the third seasons they ran out of personal problem so they created new one like Hibiki's father coming out of the blue and being solved in childish and clumsy way.
And of course the alchemist exist because the Noise wasn't going to cut it anymore.
user they were making shit up episode-by-episode. They had no idea it would blow up; the only seasons that were planned jointly were AXZ and XV. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
>>they had the whole thing planned out from the first episode to the last one of the 5th season
I love Symphogear but they most certainly did not. They didn't even have the first season planned out. Go back and watch the first episode and see how different the tone, and all the stuff about Hibiki dying.
Indeed, with a start like that I didn't expect them to keep most people alive at the end, including Hibiki.
>Hibiki didn't have enough hands to hold them all anymore so they just played the "let's give her all our power".
Wish they went with her growing more hands.
>no planning
I'm sure there was at least an s2 draft since hibiki was going into berserk in the very first ep and that never got resolved.
>Biki loses her arm for keeps after her relic cancer is cured
>instead of jacking Maria's Gungnir, she jacks Airgetlam
>when she uses it, not only does it become a new arm, but it generates another four
>the very first song with Kanade and Tsubasa was the entire plot of Symphogear
I liked how everyone thought a main character was going to die, and the ending will be bittersweet or sad. Instead?
>Villain dies
>happy marriage ending
What's the best episode to introduce this franchise to somebody?
What kind of stupid fucking question is this? S1, E1
they clearly didn't. Still pretty fucking good
probably episode 1 of GX or 1 of AXZ
or just show them the shuttle landing
symphoshit is garbage, Im glad it is over.
>or just show them the shuttle landing
this, but it's heavy spoilers for S1 and S2
I picked it up because of the train punching
>genjuro is just a regular human
>contender for strongest character
How does he do it
Considering the recent wave of deadly anime, it was a possibility. I'm more bothered Hibiki wasn't the only survivor.
I wouldn't mind show where the show isn't driven by one character but by what he was trying to achieve.
If I had control over Symphogear plot, Hibiki would die entrusting the future to a new character and it would only happen by season 2 so you think she is the holder of plot armor.
>Hibiki thought it was normal that Ryuko can just use magic shield because of him
>plot armor
I dont think you know what that means
I remember that week when that happened. Everyone was freaking out especially after the scream and the ending song came up. A whole week wondering what the fuck happened was mental anguish.
>Then nothing important happened.
>>Then nothing important happened.
That's usual for symphogear, cliffhanger then it's revealed that it wasn't actually important. How do you still get caught off guard after 5 seasons?
All the speculation that Hibiki would get a cyborg arm or learn to fight more with her legs or something.
>How do you still get caught off guard after 5 seasons?
Because it was 1 season and 5 episodes at that point. Though this is where the cliffhangers completely lost all hype for me. It's no longer exciting when the first thought to come to mind is "How will they walk this back next week?"
Why is hibimi barefoot when she fights chriss in ep6?
1st season>all other seasons
These.
Only reason I can think for you to say that is if you've been brainwashed into considering character can't ever die.
Plot armor is typically used for character who will never fail, because sometime you can't even imagine them dying.
In our case we want a character who CAN in fact die if they fail.
Not but I understand what he meant The first season started with a death and sold it pretty well. You thought that maybe this show was going to have more death (it even have a unexpectedly lewd sadomasochist scene), we sought the Climax song was going to be a big deal.
Then if get switched to a simple powerup.
I was also disappointed by the Berserk mode.
A big letdown but at least Symphogear was amuzing for other reason.
XV really needed to be 26 episodes. I get they planned AXZ and XV together, but the pacing was too fast for XV
>ESL kun tries to argue
You would have way more succes with it, if your sentences werent a mess.
Lots of retards like you dont bother to actually try to understand symphogear, because "lol just turn your brain off" mentality when almost everything is explained either in show or in the extras, symphogear is internally consistent.
They filtered millions
They could have left the endboss fight for a movie, but the problem was shitty pacing and focus, azx and xv both felt like a clusterfuck and not in a good way.
>they had the whole thing planned out from the first episode to the last one of the 5th season
>the swang song is a powerful attack that will kill you.
>user survives.
>receiver survives.
>everyone spam it like a madman on the first season and no ones dies.
>"can you stop being bad please?"
>"mmm I've being planning the destruction of mankind since literally the begginings of time... yeah why not".
