>villain
Gon did nothing wrong

inb4 he's posted

Gon is not in his right mind at that point but he's hardly the villain either, the ants are pretty consistently the bad guys even though they're naunced.

As for actual villain protagonists, Ryo from Shamo is pretty clearly a villain, not an anti-hero. He's compelling but his actions are consistently evil.

Anyone who tries to argue that Pitou didn't deserve what she got is a moron

You could plausibly argue that Gon's initial action to kill Pitou comes from a bad place since he's pretty seriously considering killing an innocent girl to do it but yeah, Pitou has done tons of shitty things and any defence of her generally revolves around arguing that as an animal she doesn't have any moral responsibility for it.

But that just changes her from a villain to a natural disaster that needs culling anyway

:(

Villain protagonists peaked with Gon. Everyone who watched 116 was having chills and shivers from Gon's behavior. He was unpredictable and intimidating because you didn't know what he was going to do. When he threatened to kill Komugi, in that moment I realized I'm watching a masterpiece.
He was so intimidating that he kept both Pitou and Pouf under his control with only words.

Or at least the author seems to think so.

I guess its debatable whether you could call Homura the protagonist, but

the best thing about this series was how every main and secondary character was a dickbag to some degree, and they all got what they deserved

This thread made me realise huntertards are actually delusional.

Fujimoto loves making his protagonists monsters for some reason.

Naah.

This will never not be funny.

>hurr Gon threatened a little girl
Komugi was a filthy ant fucker rase traitor

Pitou and Pouf, who were so powerful they viewed humans as the real insects. Gon was a scary, sad motherfucker at that point.

Well to be fair neither of them were actually -scared- of him. Pitou was moreso invested in healing and protecting Komugi. Then with her new understanding of duty, I guess, held up her part of the bargain and showed Gon Kite. She could have murdered him. With ease outside of the particular scenario they were in.

Pouf was just about with Gon and would have 100% if Pitou hadn't begged him to stop and listen.

>Code gay ass
Actually funny
