This would be more effective than TSFs on all terrains(maybe except hives) Instead they use modern day MBTs that evolved to fight other tanks and not horde of aliens.
Muv-Luv tech progression doesn't make sense at all.

I found Extra better than Unlimited. It's a competent galge and Unlimited is just an exposition dump.

Extra is pleb filter and one of the best moege experiences in the medium. Only actual retards hate it.

Honestly, as someone who doesn't even like Muv Luv, this seems like it's necessary. Extra is about building up these characters and getting a solid feel for them and then seeing the contrast in an alternate world. If you're not attached to the characters by the end of Extra, Unlimtied and Alternative's quality changes considerably.

yes it's good.

The main routes (Meiya & Sumika) are decent, but it takes way too long to get interesting and the side routes mostly suck. The h-scenes are also mostly subpar imo. I wouldn't say its bad or anything, just mediocre.

I'm definitely not watching it live. I like Muv-Luv too much to tolerate a poor adaptation, so I'll wait to see what people say.

It gets super dark in places, but it's not suffering on the whole. It's ultimately an optimistic and humanistic story.

Looking back at the story from the end, Extra is the part I most want to see. I want to see these people I've grown to love be happy.

(And, for that reason, I wish Altered Fable had taken itself just a little bit more seriously.)

It's this. The franchise as a whole is overblown. At best, it's an alright read. It just throws in some suffering, ptsd, glorious nippon imperialism, and I guess that's enough to make people think it's a masterpiece. I don't think it excels at much of anything, it's just baby's first so people latch onto it.

If you've seen the webm you've already experienced the worst. You should be fine for the rest.
As someone who had heavy alienophobia as a little kid seeing that scene late in the evening wasn't a pleasant experience. I legit couldn't sleep that night
