She turned her “good girl Krista” mode on and even used Ymir’s words implying if she doesn’t sacrifice herself she can’t live with pride. Eren knows she can handle that, he saw that selfish girl who was ready to become the enemy of the humanity but stay on his side. And he just reminded her who she is because now he will do the same for her. Sacrificing humanity outside the walls to stay on her side.

When Eren was getting saved by the Survey Corps, it was because he failed to achieve what he was striving for. He felt grateful, sure, but he also felt humiliated, because of his weakness, and envious of their strength.
In the cave, for the first time, he lost all will to fight. He was ready to die, not against his will, but of his own volition. But Historia gave him back the strenght that he had forsaken, and reminded him of his own value. This why he feels especially grateful to her.
tl;dr : the SC saved Eren from others, but Historia saved him from himself, and gave him back the will to live.
