Is Kaguya-sama the best romcom? What's your take on it?

The 1st season was a masterpiece of a comedy, except that ending was unnatural and made so in order to accomodate the unnecessary 2nd season. As for the 2nd season, I haven't finished it yet, but based on what I have watched, it's of muuuuch lower quality and is nothing like the 1st season. No wonder given the 1st season's ending.
Wrong. S2 improved on S1 formula.
Best romcom? Where? Nice joke btw.
Name something better then
I guess not. It barely follows it and is generic af. Maybe it gets better in the later episodes but the first half reeks of low quality.
Shoulda ended at fireworks.
Being the best romcom is like being the smartest kid on the short bus.
Good, but not exactly "Masterpiece" level to me. I dropped the manga right when I realize im stepping into Ishigami's harem arc
Definitely among my favorites and I like that its characters don't feel like complete clichés like in many other stories. That said, I do feel that the pacing is quite slow recently.
Sure. All anime romcoms are shit anyways
Cerberus > Lucifer > Pandemonica > the rest > Zdrada
Great comedy, shit drama (fireworks? Ishigami backstory?)
This, the comedy scenes almost always land the jokes while the drama scenes make me cringe
hey i just downloaded darkest dungeon on steam, how do i get this mod in it?
Lino a shit.
>darkest dungeon
wrong game
what game is that then
same
Lol!
Insufferable MC in the first season and it takes a while for me to get used to the format of the series. There are points that I asked, why did they put this in? like the twitter arc, which makes Kaguya one of the worst FeMCs I've seen in a while, and Ishigami's past which really shifts the RomCom tone into dramatic territory.
A slight complaint I have with the S2 was that they didn't end the series on The moon arc or Should have ended the final episode on the broken phone arc, but I guess they wanted to have a flashy ED.
Note: I did warm up to Kaguya as a character in S2. Miko Iino though became an annoying and unnecessary addition to the cast.
Manga - yes.
Adaptation - no.
School rumble
Kishuku Gakkou Juliet
Debatable: D-Frag
The only one you got right was zdrada
>school rumble
ah yes that old meme
>juliet
Juliet mc is insufferable and best girl didn't won
D-frag is good at least
>Hasukifag
Embarassing
Nice comeback.
It's enjoyable, but it's not really laugh out loud funny barring a few exceptions, escpecially season 2. Season 1 was funnier. That might be because I like humor that's more insane inn anime though, like Asobi Asobase or Prison School.
did the faggot finally dropped the exe?
Helltaker, a short puzzle game about sharply dressed demon wiafus.
>Is Kaguya-sama the best romcom?
No that's Ouran
>What's your take on it?
it's shit.
>anime only
Should've ended at Iceguya arc.
The Ishigami love triangle is completely turbo shit and dragged on for way too long.
Because Aka realized that at this point people only buy because they want to see the winner of the bowl
>Ouran
It's also shit
Kaguya is way better in handling comedy and romance than School Rumble was.
I'll come nicely on your back
Manga is one of the best overall in publication and not only in romcom, since it became more story and character driven than it's initial gag beginnings.
Watched the first season and it wasn't that great. It tries so hard to be stylistically different in the current market, but it's pretty subpar when compared to what Shaft was already doing a decade ago.
Prison school is the best romcom but i guess kaguya sama is okay
amazing helltaker fanart.
also kaguya manga and anime a best
>Ouran
Faggot in denial.

Thanks for proving that Kaguya-sama handles comedy and romance better than School Rumble.
u know, there's a weird thing about this, everyone thinks kaguya is a cunt, and people still apreciatte her reactions or her character doing stuff in general.
there are games which most people don't like the characters but it's appealing seeing them act in the given situations (ex. spec ops the line)
when you ask anons to rank the girls (or might just ask people outside here), most people will put kaguya in a top (or THE TOP) spot, everyone knows she's flawed af but still like her
