is there any scenario in which a managed fund is better than an index fund if the intent is to set it and forget it? I obviously dont have access to the millennium group. no, right?
if NAK skyrockets for I could have got it before close, I’ll be pissed. I was going to get 200 stocks in that meme.

I bought some this morning. Pumped hard today but dipped with the market crash.

Information about NAK from last thread:
*
For those who don't know what the potential of NAK is:
"We're talking about 71m ounces of gold, 57 billion pounds of copper and 340 million ounces of silver - in a conventional open-pit mine that remains open at depth and at least one other direction. In fact, a drill result outside of the defined resource returned 260 meters of 1.36% CU and 1.26 g/t AU!"
Pebble Mine is larger than every single mine which Newmont Mining owns combined. Newmont Mining is the only mining company in the S&P 500.
*
Bear in mind that the stock is extremely speculative. It all depends on whether Pebble Mine gets approved. If it does, it soars to unprecedented heights. If it doesn't, it crashes. Weigh the risk versus the reward in considering how much to put into it.

@mackvorkian, who got into Spanish Mountain Gold and Blackrock Gold before they soared 5x, said this about NAK a few hours ago:
"Plus the financing. Who does a multi million dollar financing just before a critical decision if they had significant doubts? And Alaska needs the jobs and taxes. And the Governor wants it. And the USA needs it for the Copper, Gold, Moly, Silver. It is way too big to leave in the ground. And a $150 Million Dollar NDM spent on enviro showed that it wouldn't hurt the fish. And $850 Mill plus!! I don't see how they can't give us a positive verdict tomorrow. Times up."
but never for 30+ years? i plan on having active money too but for passive money, it just makes no sense

redpill me on CLSK. Why have they been up lately? I couldn't find much information on them.

Something like 95%+ of actively managed mutual funds lose to passively managed index funds. Index funds are the set it and forget it investment vehicles now and for the future. Again, the index will be a choice but generally the big boys such as those that follow the SP500, NASDAQ, or DOW. You can also find total market index funds. Then there is no worry about picking wrong there you literally just average everything.
Jason Jones
What the fuck stopped you? I mean I put all my volatility gains specifically into that shit with like 5 minutes to go before the bell. Even got some option contracts to buy more shares if I want.
Juan Bell
Doesn't look like a sensible financial decision but it would be epic.
If the stock may go 10x, 50x, 100x, should the mine be approved, there is always time to buy. Look at this person on /pmg/ a few days ago for example, asking if he ought to buy at 1.40 or "wait for a dip": 19781320. Stock is now 2.23 and growing. Simply jump in the water and swim. You are either going to make an enormous amount of money, or lose it all, no matter what price you buy at. I already have a large position which I am up on substantially, (you can see I recommended it to /smg/ a couple of days ago as an "extremely speculative" choice ) and even I am going to add to it tomorrow. It may turn out to be an utter disaster, but I am willing to take the risk. Make sure you only buy whatever you are willing to lose.
Energygrid hardware and software designed to be integrated into modern forms of energy like electric and solar. They have contracts with cities, ag, and the military.
I have about 800 shares of NAK, someone was talking about a possible 100x, is this feasible or a pipe dream? I know it will rocket but are any of you actually expecting gains that large??
Eli Wood
Every single statement which you just made is demonstrably false.
I wanna buy some but I'm pretty sure it's past the buying window. Unless I'm retarded, I'm using Robin hood and am still kinda new to stocks
Camden Murphy
>NAK doubters if you spend literally 100 dollars there is potential for you to make 10,000. literally why would you not risk almost nothing for massive returns?
Lincoln Moore
If Pebble Mine gets approved, yes, 100x is possible in a real gold and silver bull market. Some people think that Newmont, currently $60 a share, might go 2x or 3x, and, if Pebble is as good as all Newmont's mines, then 100x is not an unreasonable speculation ($2 > $200.) But NAK may also crash to zero if the permit gets denied. It may do exactly what it did in 2011 (see picture).
I’m not going to argue. I’ll just be sure to mention it once every thread it gets shilled. If some stupid bagholder falls for your scam after seeing the warnings then they deserve it.
Jack Johnson
This really. The 10k is a bit exaggerated but you get the point.
Wyatt James
There are some cases where an actively managed fund is required. Commodity, corporate debt, and IPO/SPAC funds all need someone babying them to perform. In these cases, an index fund equivalent doesn't exist.
Sebastian Long
reminder the INTC numbers were good and the stock will surely bounce back tomorrow
So is there a date on the pebble mine decision? How long do I have to buy?
Ethan White
I didn't even bring up NAK in the last thread, somebody else did, and I joined in the discussion. I have mentioned it once or twice as a "dangerously speculative" choice, and, as you can see from my posts in this thread, I have repeatedly stated that it may crash to zero if the permit for Pebble is disapproved. I am making sure that people know exactly what it is that they are buying.

>just a hint of pit I love it
can't they just move the fish somewhere else? like just swim away nigga haha

The decision may be given tomorrow, so it is now or never.

I bought SQQQ this morning at open, sold it at the bottom of the crash and went all in on TQQQ. I’m expecting it to open green and then crab down all day. I’ll sell it at open, but SQQQ and repeat.

I bought a few HXU and HFU shares at the end of the day with my loonies. TSX is far from being in bubble stage, except for SHOP.
Every time I look at Wayfair. Look at their financials and forecast their earnings, it seems like the most obvious shorting target ever. But this has been true since June and they are up like 40% YTD. This is a company with TWO stores that is directly competing now with Amazon, Walmart, and Home Depot.

Hmm..
So 3232 was a particularly strong resistance line we've fought for like the past two weeks and only broke it 3 days ago. Today's pullback seems like a healthy test of support. If futures and tomorrow morning confirm 3232 as support, it would be a good time to jump into SPY and QQQ. You can say meme lines are just meme lines but they've done nothing but help me win so far. I'm inclined to think that 3232 is rock fucking solid support and we will resume up next week. We'll see how it plays out though.
I missed out on Workhorse so I don't wanna miss another one. And I'm going into the cyber field so I feel like the drone thing would workout. Plus the vertical assimilation is good for over all production.
