1) Release the first major upgrade for the app. (August 2020)
During the beta version of the app we have learned a ton about what our users want and we're planning a major revamp for it that will include significant improvements to the UX based on those learnings, things like the fiat on/off ramps that are currently performed manually through operators are expected to be automated.
2) Enable RSV self-custody and on-chain transactions. (2020 Q4)
Currently transactions do not reflect on the blockchain because they are centralized like with any other traditional e-wallet, after this upgrade, they will. Users will have full custody of their RSV and wallet transfers and payments will reflect on the network. Additionally, a novel private key management system will be included that aims at simplifying how users manage their keys that will use phone contacts instead of public keys for transfers.
3) Gradually accelerate scaling and marketing.
Once market fit is validated and all the important tests are finalized the team will look into scaling more aggressively and expand into new markets much faster. Further iterations are likely as the team continues to learn from users feedback.
4) Launch mainnet. (2021)
Once Reserve adoption rates are looking strong and the path for mass adoption is clear, mainnet will be launched, which will enable RSR arbitrage for the first time. This will be the start of the centralized phase of the protocol.
