No, it gets worse, first 11 episodes are kinda boring but at least are solid and have a good build up, everything after that is just retarded nonsense, as a SoL is an ok show, as anything else is the worst shit you have ever seen.

Back when S;G was airing a namefag Reading Steiner translated the game for us, along with all sorts of 4koma, side-arc manga, the Divergence Meter screensaver, and the Kurisu blue stuff. It was all bundled up in that FGL pack up there.
Reading Steiner dropped off the planet after one of his friends stole the translation for S;G and sold it to .... I forget the name of the company that localized S;G.
It broke RS on a fundamental level and he just sort of disappeared. He took his blog down, and that was that. He was a great guy and it was really shitty what happened to him.
