These hit really hard. I remember when characters being past 20 years old were already too old for me.
>trigger my paternal instincts
Are you in your 30s?
People relate to anime characters?
most oldfags are 30s by now
Sure, but the generals are more active.
>started watching anime in early high school
>most anime JKs were older than me
>I'm twenty-two now, and they still feel older
You have to keep in mind your average script writer is quite a bit older than 22.
Are you not?
Not OP, but I am 35.
I wish I had a daughteru like Renge from Non Non Biyori
Not OP but I began developing paternal instincts at the turning point of my 20s
Examples?
I started using this site in 2004 so yes I'm in my 30s. How old are you?
Are you not?
My wife is 25 and she's now going baby crazy. You'll start getting them at around your mid-20's unless you're some kind of sociopath.
>not realizing he's surrounded by boomers
I feel sorry for you kid.
You nabbed a younger wife? Nice.
>sociopath
Not everyone wants a kid you dumb fuck
I'm 20 and a lot of younger characters trigger my paternal instincts.
>-t. sociopath
I am 25 and like 2 years ago it felt like every single couple that i knew of, to like 2 degrees of separation from me, suddenly had a baby.
Not even joking, I had like, 6 babies popping up in my circles of friends and family in the span of a year, all of them sending me pictures of their "cute" babies.
They all look the same, specially when they're newborn and look like an overgrown raising, and then they end up looking like their ugly parents so still not cute.
I've been sick of seeing babies ever since.
Am I a sociopath? or is that reaction normal?
East Europe?
No, South America, why?
People close to you having kids at or below 25 years of age. Unthinkable in certain parts of the world.
Also, there's nothing weird about not liking newborns. They will all grow to hate them as well (allnighters due to crying, puke and shit everywhere, etc.), don't worry. Wait for them to get older, that's when kids actually start being fun to be around. Unless they grow up into bastards at which point they will start counting down the days for them to stop being legally responsible for their actions.
Thankfully, those are more of an exception rather than the rule.
I can't imagine a worse hell than your kid becoming someone you can't stand.
Even fiction hardly ever depicts this because it's just too painful to handle.
>I can't imagine a worse hell than your kid becoming someone you can't stand.
Easy. Also have them be intellectually disabled so the parents will be responsible for the kid for the rest of their lives.
If you ever have a child, make sure to do screenings for that shit beforehand, unlike my parents with my sister.
>that feel when reading Yotsuba
