Digimon thread

So where you think they're taking this series? The final episode announced "the man who increases the energy" makes me think that Genai will be introduced in that episode.

The fuck are you talking about? The "final episode" is a long fucking ways off.

I haven't watched it in 2 weeks

I hate Mei because she ruined Tri with Meicoomon

Tri was already ruined by default

"Announced".
English works by linking up multiple words, which change the meaning of the sentence by each of them! It's AMAZING! You just can't wrap your head around how crazy it is!

Anyways, off the moronic idiocy here, the 11th episode we have coming up, (I.E., the last one that's been announced with a name and title), is the man who increases the energy. We should be well past the evolution of the day episodes by then, so I expect that's where they'll actually do some significant plot advancement.

11th isn't "final" you twit.

Oh I see, you're a retarded ESL that can't even write. Let me help you.

>So[,] where [do] you think they're taking this series?
>[In] the LAST episode [they] announced that "the man who increases the energy". [That] makes me think that Genai will be introduced in THIS episode.
Learn to speak english before shitting up the board, shonenkiddie.

Final episode "Announced". English motherfucker, do you understand it? You know of another announced episode? No? Then that is the final ANNOUNCED episode you twit.

Meimei was shit but the cat was okay.

The latest episode was so fucking good.
It redeemed this shitty, soulless remake.

The last you meme spouting teenager, final is the last one ever

Last or latest episode to be announced, you dumbass ESL.

Primary English speakers would say, "The last episode announced," but even that is a bit ambiguous because your full sentence could imply that the previous episode was "announcing" something. Someone could read it as:
>The [last episode announced] ["the man who increases the energy"]
or
>The [last episode] [announced "the man who increases the energy"]
So you would be better off saying something like, "The last announced episode," or "The most recently announced episode," or simply "Episode 11." No one would ever fucking say, "The final episode announced," when they're talking about the episode furthest into the season which has a disclosed title.

tl;dr - Learn proper English before you try to correct native speakers so vehemently. It's embarrassing to watch.

This is bait.

I hope the Darktyranomon in ep 8 evolves into a perfect on ep 9. I like it when villains step up to fight the heroes, I just hope the heroes don't get Metal Greymon to beat it and just take it out with teamwor. Sadly it's not likely since ep 10 heavily implied Metal Greymon.

Less than two weeks until Metalgreymon´s debut.

Nah, they'll digivolve into omegamon to beat it.
Still wondering what kari and TK's relationship in this series will be since they're playing up those two's connection with each other with the feathers.

They'll probably get their own mini journey later in the show while the rest of the cast need to find them. They'll probably become friends then, with Hikari taking charge until Takeru finally starts doing something.

The real mystery here is Tailmon and Patamon, since they're not part of the 6 heroes group, and Tailmon being a villain might not happen this time around.

fuck yeah

Which group is fansubbing this? I'm interested in watching.

Erai

They use dub terminology though

>They use dub terminology though
FUCK

Anyone got some webms of the later episodes?
Only made some for the first few.

tri > 02

It's a hassle so I don't bother much.

I want to see the group's reaction when they find out the holy digimon they've been looking for are a potato with wings and a cat,

If I like the original will I like this?

The localization is better, stop being a weeb.

Patamon's bio describes him as a great war hero and Seraphimon got a shrine all to himself, so I guess he'll act like a veteran grandpa or something. Tailmon's describes her as a mysterious ally who guides them from the shadows, so perhaps she'll be the only one who kept all her memories from the war

Even the names? I can get over Digivolve and Digi-this-and-that, but it really fucks me up to hear different proper nouns than I'm reading (like someone shouts "Koushiro!" and I have to read "Izzie!" and put together that those are the same name). Kizuna's subtitles were like that and it made watching it such a mental chore because it's like I had to re-translate the translations any time it came to people's names.

They're kinda inconsistent, actually. They don't use the term "Digivolve", but they use the dub terminology for evolution stages.

Seraphimon would have been the leader of the angel Digimon.
Which is kinda why I dislike the idea of Tailmon's Ultimate being Ofanimon, since it'd just be second banana to Seraphimon. It's kinda bad enough that HolyAngemon is basically Angewomon except better.

>they use the dub terminology for evolution stages.
That's the kind of thing I can get over, I think, but if they use the English character names I really think it would drive me mad.
