Fire punch anime in 2021

Just some random interview.

In the COMICS NEWS 7 June issue, we interviewed Shihei Kobayashi about an episode with Mr. Tatsuki Fujimoto, the creator of "Fire Punch" and "Chainsaw Man" who were in charge of her debut!

Profile Shihei Hayashi "Weekly Shonen Jump" Shonen Jump "Chainsaw Man" should be. P +SPY FAMILY Co., THE ART GEARE, Tsukiyoshi Sakaki, "Moonland"

―Mr. Tatsuki Fujimoto's debut work “Fire child” originally made a name for the “Jump SQ” series battle meeting at the beginning when you understood “Shogaku In1 Jump +”, but you can pass it… “That work I thought it would be impossible not to release it to the world!” and the series started on “Shonen Jump+”. Mr. Fujimoto was anticipating the serialization in "Jump SQ" and had the skills of the monthly serialization hone, so I was wondering about the weekly serialization, but I gathered all the assistants with all my strength and Fujimoto Mr. San also do his best, and somehow the final

I was able to run up to the number of times. As I mentioned in the secret call, Mr. Kaido and Mr. Yuji Kaku of "Hell Music" were also invited.

I don't think I'll ever be able to collect such amazing artists again. At that time, Professor Kaku would not have been born “Hell Music” if he didn't join the teacher's workplace before making the name “Hell Music”. I think it was definitely influenced, and most of the people who were assistants in "hell music" today were assistants in "fire punch". Therefore, about 80% of the assistants in the workplace of Dr. Kaku and Mr. Fujimoto wore the last year.

At the year-end party of, I did two attractive places together (laugh)

There is a feeling of tension that I have to think and convey. I think that it draws a story that is not very typical, a story that is not magnetic, so I would like to help as much as possible. When I was seven years old, I was in charge of direct exchanges with Professor Tomoto, who was one of the Tobu, but I was so excited that I bought books that I read interestingly. Anyway, since I wanted you to touch various things, I also packed various manga and DVDs in cardboard and sent them. This teacher is "6 beasts" (Naoko Uehashi / Kodansha) and ``Shimanto River (Miki) Yamakuzo/Kawade Shobo Shinsha) said it was interesting.

It was decided in the book, but it didn't look like a protagonist, and I opposed it a little, but when I believed him and promoted my name, I was able to reach that shape.

What kind of house atmosphere do you have for meetings and productions with Professor Fujimoto? Since I was originally from a rural area, I am accustomed to making meetings over the telephone and will be in constant contact with me. The meeting usually takes about 1 to 2 hours, but about half of it is said to be "(I want you to see this movie for the next series)" or hear your impressions.

It may be surprising to read a chime. It's a world that I'm responsible for, but there are things I don't have to say when I met Mr. Fujimoto at the blot stage. For example, the episode in which power started in the coveny of the story was not heard at the meeting, and I remember having a big laugh at the name, it was too interesting! (laughs) “The teacher was also happy. Of course, the bones of the story are discussed to some extent, but not in detail so as to have an objective perspective.

-After the completion of "Fire Punch", how did you move towards the next work "Chainsawman?" I told Professor Fujimoto that I was going to move, "Mr. Hayashi transferred the brain device 4 at the destination". I will wait until I can turn it", and at that time I was transferred to "Weekly Shonen Jump" which is "My sister's sister", the name I gave at the prompt conference on the day did not actually pass The name I made next was "Chain Soman". From the beginning, after the transformation, Denji's “Visual (love that has become a chain saw) is wisdom!

I think that people who don't see stories are less likely to become writers. The selection of input reference is not limited to Professor Maemoto. We asked many people to look at their works and tell us what they found interesting.

If it can't be verbalized, it won't be a useful idea, so I can't forgive for "somehow interesting" (laughs) Kazuaki Muro It's important to touch many works without mind. Of course, it's impossible to see all genres, so I think it would be good if there were some areas of expertise for some people.

-The part you leave to the teacher is big. I agree. It may be similar to the feeling that you are reading in the special seat. The editor has the roles of both a director and a producer, but I feel that when it comes to "Chainsaw Man," I'm in a terrifying area. Of course, when I read the name and I'm not sure, I will say it, and I will be the SPV of Deshu. That's why I asked, "How do I know if I do not understand?"

Of course, I think that it is also good for B-class movies.

ー “Fire Punch” says that “I'm staring into comics such as this manga is amazing! I'm happy that the teacher himself is aiming to draw something interesting rather than the questionnaire and the number of copies, and I think that is the result.

(Google Translate)

Ah, yes. I see now.

>"My sister's sister", the name I gave at the prompt conference on the day did not actually pass
In an alternate universe, we'd be reading My Sister's Sister.
What would it be about?

>still using Google TL in 2020

Fujimoto has been doing a bunch of interviews lately. Which is odd, usually these savant weirdo types are quite elusive.

They probably left a trail of watermelons from his studio to a cafe or something.

so whats the OP/ED gonna be like?

Some interesting tidbits:
Fire Punch was pitched to Jump Square twice. They rejected it both times.
Another one: Endo, the SpyXFamily mangaka, was an assistant to Fujimoto.

> you can decide if there will be a Fire Punch or Chainsaw Man anime adaption
> it will be high quality, no CGI, with soul
> the other one will never get an adaption
Which one do you pick?

Chainsaw Man. An anime for it'd work better and it's more straight forward and has more potential to become popular, which means infinite melons for Fujimoto.
Fire Punch I somehow don't think would really work as an anime.

Tough one but I am gonna go with chainsaw man

Chainsaw Man.
I have a hard time imagining an anime doing Fire Punch justice, but it would be amazing, if it did.
Chainsaw Man I can actually see becoming an anime. Fire Punch seems too out there.

Nobody will ever be able to translate Fire Punch into animation correctly.
So chainsawman.

It'd be an extended version of this.

Or perhaps he's talking about this one and GT just messed up.

>no CGI
This wouldn't be possible in any world.
I could see them going with no 3dCG for the fiend/hybrid heads and devils (maybe traced or referenced occasionally though), but there will undoubtedly be 3dCG in the anime elsewhere.

Fire Punch, because its just a great manga and it'd make waves if it got adapted.
Something like this generation's EVA. Not entirely original in concept, but an effective synthesis of a lot of different ideas that is very impactful.

wholesome family

I took it as a twisted and destructive relationship that was driving them both down a bad path.

How interesting.
Shihei don't know “a traffic accident”.

>Another one: Endo, the SpyXFamily mangaka, was an assistant to Fujimoto.
so Anya is Denji and Power child

As much as Gabimaru is their brother, I guess.

If it's guaranteed to be a quality adaptation? Fire Punch without a second thought.
If it's a gamble Chainsaw Man because it's easier to adapt.

You got it right.
