I really think that people overestimate how tall people are.
I have had at least 20 conversations with men who claim that they're 6 feet tall when they're actually 5'9". It's insane.

Had a summer work in my teens there I had to take ID cards as pledge for tourists to rent boats, worked barefoot and literally every American ID card that had there height in 6'0 or 6'1 (I'm 184cm tall so like 6'0 1/2) were shorter than me even when they wore shoes.
