Why do you guys think Bleach has managed to retain such a strong following? I enjoy lots of elements from the series, but also recognize it has some serious flaws, but I'd love to analyze why it works and many other shonens like, I dunno, Demon Slayer don't have the same staying power.

Still feel bad for zangetsu. Ichigos lock and stock shonin trope of good guy with edgy inner darkness powers never fit his character. White hollow virus aside. Also him being a hybrid of everything was stupid.
Haven't heard them speak enough, but so far so good I think.

Ulquiorra is Kubo's greatest and most significant creation. He added more subtext and symbology through his character, in both the Ulquiorra Unmasked and the Ichigo fight (and even the successive Ichigo fights, vis-a-vis Hougyoku & Transcendence), than he did with anyone else: all of Bleach's major themes are wrapped in heart.
