As requested by, like, 2 people, let's read Rurouni Kenshin!
I don't know what the common storytime etiquette is, but if you lads don't mind, I'm gonna skip story-irrelevant pages like indexes, chapter separators, etc. I don't know if you want the Author Comments pages; I'd skip them but if you want them, I'll post them.
I've got scans of the Viz 28 volume edition, but also raws of the 22 volume edition, which has some of the illustrations without text over them, or in color. Along with the regular pages, I'll be posting the color illustrations, and the ones that are too affected by text in the Viz edition. You know, because they're nice and they look good.
Also, I'll ask right now and keep asking if needed: does anyone have Vol9 of the 4-in-1 edition by Viz, either physical or scanned? It contains the only official English translation of Yahiko's Sakabato I'm aware of, and to the best of my knowledge, it's never been available digitally. The only other English translation available right now is a shitty, tiny, ancient scans with an even worse translation. I've got good quality raws and I'd gladly typeset an official translation (I've already done it with the Haru ni Sakura epilogue), but if no one has it, I'll have to retranslate it from the official Spanish translation. So if anyone has it physical, I'd appreciate scans, or even just photos of the pages for the translation.
I heard Oda was an assistant for this guy, so he probably picked up the abnormally huge people thing from him.

Caleb Rodriguez
He was. Supposedly he designed a few of the Juppongatana from the Kyoto arc, and Watsuki put a reference to One Piece (the straw hats logo) in the Jinchuu arc. Watsuki mentions the Shaman King author was also his assistant and friend.
This guy here, doesn't exist in the anime. Instead, there's Dr. Gensai (who appears later in the manga), and two anime-original little girls, Ayame and Suzume. They never appear in the manga.
Also, a lot this chapter is replaced by sillier, more stereotypical scenes, not only because of the little girls, but by things like Kenshin running into Kaoru while she's bathing, because he thinks she's gonna kill herself due to her school's dishonor.
Also I'll reiterate the question, since we'll be at the end of the chapter relatively soon: do you want me to post the author comment pages? Skipping them would be faster, but if you want them, I'll post them.
Forgot to say, a tiny spoiler for waaaay later, but the inciting incident of the Hokkaido Arc is Kaoru finding evidence that her dad is alive in Hokkaido. Between this page and , I guess he went missing during the Seinan war and the army just reported to Kaoru that he died.
