Be honest, Zig Forums, 2020 is turning out to be a better year for originals than any of last decade.

And personally Yesterday wo utatte.
Fugou keiji is pretty fun as well

Fugou Keiji's based off a book, actually

Yesterday wo Utatte was based off a manga

go back to wan piss shonenigger

But bro, Netflix and CR supposed to kill anime, not save it

Doesn't top 2014, not even close

When they become the dominant power they might, but for right now they're just the newbie splashing money everywhere to try and get a foothold.

KLK was better than any of those

originals are pretty good, yeah

Only ones decent are Great Pretender and ID:Invaded and those are just okay.

2014 had what? Shirobako? The big original of that year was fucking Aldnoah Zero of all things.

We're talking as if original were always consistently decent.
It's not hard to surpass expectations when the bar is set extremely low.

I pretty much only read source materials these days, so originals are the only thing I care about in anime. 2020 has been sweet.

Great Pretender has been pretty middling so far, and the rest is only airing in October.

only great pretender and ID invaded are good
>unironically rating something with less than 6 episodes as the best originals of the decade

I'm not saying they're the better than everything from last decade, I'm saying the year as a whole has been better for good originals than any of the last decade.

None of these are original

ID INVADED was fun. I hope Otaro Maijo writes more anime, I like his prose fiction a lot.

Meant to reply to OP

Agreed, he has some very whacky obsessions.

Psycho Pass, Shirobako, KLK?

Yeah I never thought I'd see a recurring theme of drilling holes in people's heads across multiple works but whatever floats his boat.

Psycho-pass started in 2012, KLK was 2013, and shirobako was 2014

>Deca-Dence
>good
Agree about the rest though. Don't forget absolute shit like Listeners and Gibiate aired this year too.

>good
Yes.

Those shows are all shit

Maybe if this is the first season of anime you've watched. Off the top of my head.
2011
>Meguca
>[C]
>Tiger & Bunny
>Guilty Crown
>Zexal
and probably a few others

Attached: 200.jpg (640x368, 98.2K)

Actually, Meguca was my first season of anime. [C] was also pretty good, but the rest of that year was pretty unmemorable.

C has to be the worst show title ever. Do these people understand how search engines work?

I mean, technically the title is [C]: The money of soul and possibility control

>A Place Farther Than The Universe
>Katana Maidens - Toji No Miko
>Dragon Pilot
>Planet With
>Revue Starlight
>SSSS.Gridman
>Zombie Land Saga
>Hugtto Precure (AKA the best Precure series since Heartcatch)
I'd give it to 2018 myself

I do not use this word lightly, but Revue Starlight was incredibly pretentious. It constantly aped techniques from better shows without understanding why they worked, all style no substance.

How is Appare Ranman I skipped it cuz it looked kinda well gay the main character looked gay but if it has an interesting storyline then maybe I shouldn't have judged it on what the characters looked like

user, it is you who is gay
