This was uncalled for. There was no reason for this.
This was uncalled for. There was no reason for this
It made fatties like you mad so I'd say it was completely called for.
What I find really funny was that Milkman wasn't a good pilot at all. Not that fat boy was a good pilot, but I always assumed that - at some point - Milkman would bust out the 3000 IQ Super Saiyan Blue God Thirteen Paths Sage Mode, while he didn't even pilot for the finale.
There was no point to the whole show.
There's no point to anything.
it was funny
As it turns out, not being good at killing klaxxos even turned out to be the good and right thing, as the klaxxos were the good and heroic defenders of the world all along, and everyone who killed lots of klaxxos on the other hand deserved to be punished.
Especially serotsu and Hiro, who murdered trillions of klaxxos and thus enabled the evil alien invaders to steal all the souls of the Adult humans and trillions of klaxxocore-souls.
But fortunately, the wrongdoer serotsu and Hiro repaid for their sins with their lives, by being sent on an eternal penitence travel to across space, constantly suffering and having to fight and doing nothing else, to oppose the VIRM and release the imprisoned souls.
Karma was true and just.
Mitsuru was in a prior life most likely the most exalted of all saints for being blessed as the greatest hero of all Children mankind, whereas Hiro must have been a rapist massmurdering baby-sodomizing villain in his prior existence to be punished with that much bad luck, and still blowing it.
>no reason
He was a fat fuck and a pathetic simp. That's reason enough.
Zero Two was the point. The entire show was a vehicle for her character to interact with Hiro, so they took a watered-down TTGL plot and made those two the main characters.
Simps get the rope first
Someone will sperg out over muh buzzwords but it was the definition of forced drama. She broke up with the fat dude in the most embarrassing way imaginable when she didn't need to. Superficially the story has her acknowledge her wrongdoing, but is actually sympathetic toward her and pretty boy and even played up how gross and clingy fat dude is. Then it doesn't matter anymore, no one really cares, fat dude existed for that one moment and has no character arc and is just shoved with the lesbo. The show did that a lot, got really dramatic and then fizzed out.
>Waifubait is the point
Yeah
The show was about serotsu AND Mitsuru causing drama.
Best drama-duo.
All the characters were shit, ezpz thot-chan included.
I'm glad there was such a universal backlash about this though. I thought all you fags didn't mind this kind of shit so long as it didn't happen to your self-insert. Until the collective outrage happened, I had completely written most anime viewers off as hypocritical degenerates with double standards. Now I know it's mostly just degeneracy present.
Her body her choice!!!
Did you not find it funny? Was probably the only decent humor in the whole show
The real question is how long did milkman last? I bet he was a one pump chump.
People say it was because he was fat and that was definitely part of the reason, but he was also an overbearing simp who put her on a pedestal and never really made real emotional connection with her, so even if he wasn't a fatty I don't see them ending up together. I'd also like to point out that her own looks were probably a big part of the reason why he liked her so much in the first place.
Also this moment and the fallout were needed for her character growth. Kokoro is one on those "nice" types who is only seen "nice" because she has trouble expressing her true feelings and going against the grain. Futoshi pressures her to promise him that they'll be together forever and of course she says "yes," because of her trouble expressing her true feelings in the faced of other people's expectations. Then when a partner shuffle is suggested, she volunteers, expressing her true feelings for the first time. Afterward she reveals that she admires Mitsuru's ability to go against the grain, and her guilt about hurting Futoshi causes her to make more of an effort to be more honest with her opinions and feelings.
Also Futoshi ends up with another waifu who is probably a better match for him, so idk why people are still so butt-blasted about it. That last part is a lie. Of course I know it's because they're self-inserting big beautiful men, who want a gorgeous nice-girl waifu.
It's still funny TO THIS DAY
yeah but he was good at filling her pussy up with tons of cum
Stop these threads please. Kokoro did nothing wrong.
Imagine not having a perfect relationship
I do believe he was legitimately gay for Hiro. I know, I know, they were kids, and it was simple admiration, but it was clearly more bitter resentment as he got older. There's not liking somebody over something in the past, and then there's holding an unnaturally strong grudge for 10 years. There was a parallel with Ikuno and how they were essentially a married couple keeping up appearances, but both were closeted. Ultimately, Milkman was more bisexual and began developing feelings for Kokoro after she reached out to him. Once he accepted her, he began having a healthy relationship which greatly improved his piloting. And once he learned about Hiro's circumstances, he realized his resentment was completely unfounded.
Kokoro herself was attracted to him because he was clearly a damaged child. She had natural maternal instincts but didn't totally grasp motherhood, so the onset of "puberty" combined both her libido and her maternal instincts. It's probably a good thing they got mindwiped, or else Kokoro and Milkman would have had a very emotionally stunted relationship that relied on him being seen as a child.
It was still funny and one of the best parts.
>universal backlash
Among fatties.
Theer was no reason for the fat fuck to kept pestering her like he did.
>mfw this simp was the only one that ended up vrigin
Holy kek
You dont think him and the redhead were fucking the whole time?
> I do believe he was legitimately gay for Hiro.
I don't think he really understood what he was saying when he mentioned wanting to pilot with Hiro. I actually really like that the series goes out of its way to ungay everyone, except the token lesbian.
Best girl Kokoro, preventing homosexuality and helping repopulate the human race.
> I'm glad there was such a universal backlash about this though.
The backlash was mostly because of the insanity of the ending. I thought the fat boy stuff was hilarious, but I'm aghast that they decided to re-enact the entire final arc of Gurren Lagann.
