Sure, but with better lighting. It's ergonomic and comfy as hell to have the bed at the top.

Have you, or has any other human being, ever ACTUALLY woken up from a nightmare and shot bolt upright? I am extremely confident that only happens in movies.

(Although I have sleepwalked occasionally, and once I woke up from a dream about trying to escape from a grave to find myself standing on my bed clawing through the drop ceiling above me... but I just slowly stopped what I was doing and there was no dramatic jerk. We still had to replace the ceiling, though. I thoroughly wrecked it.)
