now see, I understand why you say that but imo the really long fights have an interesting rhythm to them that keep them pretty entertaining even for several hours, the only part of DBZ that truly lags imo is between the android and the cell saga, honestly the whole android saga was pretty pointless cuz they just instantly became good guys and never fought goku, although it is interesting philosphically and aesthetically, idk, my advice would be to appreciate how beautiful the background art is during the super long fights, DBZ has many different valuable features
