I am convinced taht Togashi is lurking these threads, all of this is part of an experiments he patiently and methodically planned over decades, he had this in mind even before coming up with YuYu Hakusho, in fact, YuYu Hakusho and him marrying miss Sailor Moon was just steps of his plan to gain the fame and manga sensei authority to get away with a lifetime of neeting playing DQ and jerking off five times a day to idolshit.

I think it would be fun picking a Pokemon team for HxH characters. What about it? I’ll start:

I can easily imagine Phinks having a Pelipper. Among the things Pelipper is known for ingame, there's it's signature move Stockpile which it immediately learned upon evolving. Stockpile and its related move Spit Up works much the same as Phinks' Nen ability - gathering power for a few rounds to release it in one big burst. Whether he'd let Pelipper keep it instead of better moves is another question, but I could imagine him using it for that reason.

Next, as a member of the Phantom Troupe, obviously he needs a spider in his team. The choice for that falls on Galvantula - a Pokemon that is both deceptively fast AND can hit harder than one would expect, considering that it's ability Compound Eyes allows it to use strong moves with lower accuracy, therefore denting enemies quite a bit.

As an Enhancer, Phinks obviously needs a fighting type - and that's going to be Medicham, due to it's Pure Power ability which doubles its attack. Not much needs to be said here. Chances are it is able to mega evolve as well.

For similar reasons, he includes a Pokemon with the ability Sheer Force in his team, which would be Nidoking. With the two of them, it shouldn't be much of a problem for him to tear holes into the enemy walls.

From this point on, it's a bit harder, but as the fifth Pokemon in his team, I could imagine a Bisharp. It's dark type fits well to a villain, it's a good user for Pursuit (refer to how he tailed Gon and Killua alongside Pakunoda), and it's Defiant ability goes well with his statements from his appearance in the Chimera ant arc (when the former inhabitants of Meteor City who were turned into Chimera ants wanted him to finish them off).

Last but not least, he probably has a Cofagrigus to stick at least one reference to Egypt in here. Plus the fact that it's very sturdy, much like Enhancers.

How would Nobunaga deal with any of the strong Princes? Their nen beasts are unkillable.

None of the princes have beasts worth bringing up because there's nothing to measure them by. Benjamin's is unknown, Camilla's conditions for control are unknown, Zhang's isn't a direct combatant with various unknown abilities, and Tse's beast has only fought a cockroach so far. Parallel Universe also probably doesn't let him harm anyone during it, but that's just my guess.
