You have to try really hard to find Japanese voice acting as amateurish as the standard anime dub production. Even in similar media, like video games where actors are held to a higher standard, it's often night and day listening to Japanese dubs. They make good effort to imitate the original voice while also sounding less like they're just reading off a sheet of lines. The real drawback of learning Japanese is your eyes now have nothing to look at during flapping mouths scenes, where before you read the subtitles.
