One of my personal favorites.
Great mix of ep-to-ep self-contained stories and sunflower samurai story.
Mixture of samuraiz & streetz was weird. Sometimes it worked well, sometimes it was cringe.
Characters and their arcs were great. Combat was really cool. Music was excellent. I kinda preferv SC over Bebop.

I think the plot was awfully rushed in the last chapters. It's a shame since the slow pace + balanced comedy/serious tones was a really great combination along the series.
Ost... Good, how did Nujabes achieve to mix comfy OSTs and action scenes in such a way? Damn.

I re-watched it a few months ago and it was better than I remembered. One of my favourites now even.
I remember hearing that he did the music live during the production of each episode, which might be why it works so well.

I do agree with both of you. There are some episodes that I couldn't care less about like mines. I believe that the main reason why Bebop ended up as a classic while SC did not was because of how SC starts to drag later on while Bebop has some of its best episodes near the end.
But SC's ending was really fucking great. Kariya fight or schizos were both cool final foes for Jin&Mugen.

I've only seen up to the episode with Jin and the prostitute, great episode but the show was inconsistent up to that point. I don't know how the show can top that episode.
