What would quirkless Deku do against shit like this?

>B-but he could learn about their weakness!
>B-but he could train?!
Anyone who believes that Batman Deku would improve this series is a certified retard, there would still be 8 threads a day talking shit about it but they'd be complaining that he just beat muscular with martial arts and a gun rather than O MY SEVEN QUIRKS

Ultra Instinct.

Great acting, you’re getting good falseflaggot-kun

he could've at least earned his quark by trying to be batman. him fooling everyone and getting into a school without a quirk could've been an interesting source of conflict for a while until all might discovers his secret. it would've proven his worth. i dont like how my hero academia encourages dumb decisions just because they were motivated by a good cause. deku should've been scolded for trying to save bakugo, not rewarded.

Same thing quirkless Stain did to Todoroki, beat the shit out of him

>go to support building class
>build strong babies
>Use MUH DATA with tech
>be literally bat man
>add some plot armor
It's said you can't be a pro hero paid by the hero association without a quirk. Nothing was ever said about not being able to go to UA, be in that sport competition, or being a hero if you don't have a quirk.

Fucking Mirio doesn't have a quirk and he's still a hero and UA student.

(You)

Stain literally cut through this ice with a knife.

Look at this shit, Eraserhead is literally jumping several meters and fighting people who are physically superior than him despite being a regular human. You can't tell me you can't be a hero without a quirk.

Shoot him

Mirio should have become a villain after losing his Quirk.

He's presented as this amazing figure who is so much more worthy of One For All than Deku, and even after the Yakuza arc we're given no reason to believe otherwise. If he lost his Quirk and then turned to the LoV in desperation to get a new one, we'd see what Deku has over Mirio: Deku, who lived his whole life quirkless and still had the mental fortitude to be a hero, versus Mirio, who couldn't even last a week quirkless before becoming bitter. This way we'd have a villain who actually has emotional stakes for the protag.

Also imagine how great of a moment it would have been for Nighteye to see into Mirio's future and die with a look of complete horror.

IIRC ice boy was freezing to death before Deku reminded him that he could shoot fire.
Realistically, all Deku would need to do is stall and he would have won.

I do really like Hero Academia, but Stain should have been fucked against Todoroki, not slicing through 12 feet of solid ice. His quirk is incredibly niche, and you can't even headcanon any sort of super strength and durability like you can for Bakugo.

>How could Deku compete if he's not stronger than everyone else?

He lost anyway and dequirk bullets/real bullets can defeat Todoroki. A pistol shot to the head

I just kinda miss the part of the show where Deku couldn't use his quirk without breaking himself so he had to use his brain first and his quirk as a last resort. I feel like that might be why the author went for the "Deku inheriting the quirks of every previous OfA user" thing- it's not about making him OP so much as giving him tools that allow him to leverage his brain more than raw super strength does.

shiggy becomes too strong because o my 7 quirk

Batman Mirio would be the best character ever.

no

bump:)

>What would quirkless Deku do against shit like this?
Same thing anyone else except Sugoibakugo, nothing.

>it's not about making him OP so much as giving him tools that allow him to leverage his brain more than raw super strength does.
Too bad "critics" act like if was just "lol author is a hack", see

>Deku, who lived his whole life quirkless and still had the mental fortitude to be a hero
Deku spent 99% of that time brooding over not having a quirk. No one needs to be dragged down to make him look good. The whole problem is that there are no acknowledged flaws for him to overcome, making him "pure" and boring. What you suggest for Mirio had far more potential in Deku,

Batman by himself in Gotham is fine, but when he faces mythical, galactic or divine beings he loses all logic. those who say "MUH I plan everything" will always come but he is the first class gary stu, he does not move the plot he is the PLOT

yes

The real issue is making Deku have all these limitations on his ability to use One For All while saying that All Might could use it freely without issue from the moment he first had it. It leads the reader to assume there must be either something fundamentally wrong with Deku or that there's more to All Might than it seems, but there's never actually pay off or explanation for it. Saying that All Might had to train for years before he could use OFA without hurting himself would make Deku's slow improvement more meaningful. Another option would be to say that All Might DOES have a quirk, namely his ability to shift between his normal body and super buff body. It could be that originally, his super buff body wasn't actually functionally stronger, but it happened to perfectly synergize with OFA. This would be extremely funny, explain how he can still at least temporarily shift into his muscle form even with OFA being completely extinguished, and it would make his choice to put his faith in Deku more meaningful. All Might was chosen because he was uniquely physically gifted to use the quirk to its full physical potential, while All Might chose his successor based on how he hoped Deku based on his cognitive abilities and personality, believing that, even if he couldn't use the power to its fullest, at least right away, he would exhibit the best judgement in how and when to use it.

I didn't that to bump the thread tho

Todoroki jobbed against Stain, who's basically quirkless for melee fighting purposes. Granted, he was a trained assassin, for Deku to be able to pull the same shit than Stain as a highschooler he would have to really be a shota Batman and people would complain anyway.
