The pace the main couple moves at is slow, glacial even.
The MC can be a total sperg who does get a bit better but it takes ages and that development is attached to the longest arc in the manga to date.
I binged the manga one weekend because I wanted to see what if anything would change from what I had seen of the anime. I was only slightly disappointed but at least the girls are well drawn and cute. Except Mami. She can suck on a lemon.
