I want a good go between to come up. Animated manga or some such shit.

How would that work?

are you high

the pages are gifs

I remember and think back on manga I enjoyed far more than I do anime I enjoyed.
Anime is an inferior medium, but it is still an interesting medium and a nice one to explore. Manga's just the best experience, though.

manga has no music or stellar VA-work

Objectively speaking, if you prefer a story more disconnected from the author, but a display of higher technical skill from a group of professionals, anime's better for you.
But if what you're interested in is solely the author's technical skills and storytelling abilities, an the closest thing to the author's story, manga is by far the best.

How many times have you made the same thread with the same image? I'm pretty sure you've been posting this since the manhua was ongoing.

I miss this manhua so much :( why did the author have to drop it.

manga

Anime has very low technical skill outside of big name studios, and talent only gets 30 seconds every several episodes.

In general, manga.

These days I think I prefer manga.

Generally manga but sometimes I go on an anime streak. Right now I'm not really reading much outside of the manga I follow monthly so I have a lot of downtime and I'm trying to finish a long anime (Mazinger) I started a while ago. Recently I've been mostly watching mecha, magical girl, and slice of life series. A lot of Shaft stuff too.

I agree, but many manga can also be like that
Think of garbage like pic related, probably the only good moment of the series was mediocre and everything since has been incredibly boring, with no talent or writing skill needed. Just a boring, less funny/popular garfield of manga.
Though there are masterworks out there. Pluto, Dungeon Meshi, Houseki no Kuni, Freesia, etc. where every chapter is beautiful and displays far more technical skill in a single chapter than anime will in an entire season.

Manga is a better medium overall, considering things like the personal expression of a single author and how simple the requirements are, allowing diverse types of works to be feasible.

However a good animated adaptation of a manga is virtually always better, as you would expect from something made with the work of countless skilled people and lots of investment would be.

If the manga is shit just read another one that isn't shit. Anime isnt like that because the best ones still have a high ratio of shit.

I find anime easier to consume since staring at a screen for 25 minutes with my hands in my pants beats having to scroll while reading manga. Wouldn't say I really prefer either over the other though.

Also newfag examples. Lurk more.

99% of the time I prefer manga. The times I watch anime is when it’s a true audio visual experience. Great animation and music. Something like FLCL. I need my anime to do exclusively what manga cannot

I prefer anime as a genre, but the quality control of manga is just so much better. Anime adaptions also always have tons of issues. But anime with an original story and good studio backing are usually quite good. It's a tough choice between them.

voiced manga with an OST would be a game changer

The original is usually always better, though there are exceptions.

I like animation, so it's anime for me.

visual novels pretty much

Manga.

you mean, visual novels?

Webtoon, manga paneling is too confusing.

Manga, mostly because it's faster to read through a chapter than to watch an episode and I've been burned by too many shitty adaptations.

Only time I watch anime now is for the originals and if I know that the adaptation is really good.
