Don’t they just use guns and swords?

hunter x hunter, jojo, one piece

No. And watch the show before making assumptions.

Jujutsu Kaisen

Pretty much yeah.

hxh - one of the few decent power system. still full of asspulls

jojo - barely a power system. just random powers. has even more asspulls.

one piece - not even a system. just random powers that fall for typical anime tropes.

It has a good power system the same way naruto had a good power system for the first hundred chapters.

Except that it has actual meta usage as well as it ties into the universe neatly as it's not "this just exists bro"

Mistborn

What meta usage?

Do you know that you can use non-shitpost starters as OP?
But yes, WT power system is well-thought and stays within established rules. Except Black Triggers and side-effects, I guess.

Came here to post this

The fuck are you talking about? You have never read Jujutsu kek

>Except Black Triggers and side-effects, I guess.
what rules do they break?

I've read 40 chapters.

Contracts and bindings, specifically the divulging of techniques. Divulging your technique makes it stronger but in return what is lost is that obviously, the technique is now known. It's also bluffed like when Todo reveals his technique to Hanami, but leaving out bits of information so he can gain an advantage in another field. It's a great exposition tool, while also used pretty cleverly by the characters themselves.

Pokemon trading cards

So basically what hxh has been doing for years? Eh thats decent by mha standards but nothing impressive.

If that's what you got out if it, sure man.

What the hell is this?

Then stop talking

Jujutsu is quite literally a 200IQ series. Brainlets get filtered by the power system that's why we have good threads. I still remember a few threads ago someone called megumi a jobber

Not really. It's a shonen that requires you to pay attention to, which is too much for the average shonenspic that inhabits this board.

DB. Power systems don't have to be needlessly complex.

Never said it does. And world trigger's isnt. Its very simple actually.

If we put them out of an equations, WT, especially Ranked Wars, would be sports. Rules are clearly defined, everyone has access to same tools, what differs is their skill and tactics. Side-effects could be translated to rare innate skills. Black Triggers doesn't translate to sports.
I mean, they actually don't break the rules, but without them, other rules would still work. Bad wording, I guess.

Dragon ball has the most boring power system.
>get beat up and you get stronger
>you can also train to get stronger
That's it

40 chapters is more than enough to understand the system of a fast paces series like jujutsu.

All the neighbor triggers basically follow new rules. I don't think we've ever even seen two different neighbors using the same nonstandard (to border) trigger, like we never got to see anyone but Hyuse using his magnet trigger, or the guy with the slime trigger, etc.

Flying babies.

Your life.

Undead x Unluck and JJK, both have the most interesting power systems in ongoing WSJ manga.

Edens Zero

Fucking brainlet take, seriously, hang yourself.

Nope its completely true. The series is just like naruto with a vague system and the occasional strategy.
