There is lots of controlled opposition trying to put Hunterchads and OnePiece fans against each other,
done by bitter MHA- tards cause they realized by the story time threads that it will never be their era,
shonen is going to die with us!!

I've been reading One Piece weekly for ten years and dropped it during this arc. I'll pick it up once Wano concludes, but its just been insufferable to me.

Because the sluggish pace of this series is beating the hype to death. Wano would probably be way better read all in one go.

It’s definitely good now, but we spent over 50 chapters on pointless bullshit. It’s going to need to stay solid for the rest of the arc to make up for all the time wasted on fodder and gags.

I just think it's boring. My expectations for Wano were high, but now it feels like a larger and longer version of Alabasta.

So far the only time skip arc that I've truly enjoyed was Whole Cake Island. I love One Piece, but I really can't wait for the Straw Hats to leave Wano.

As a casual reader all I can make is the following observation.

Luffy really has no big quarrel, no ideological beef with Kaido besides "Kaido is a huge jerk and beat him in a fight once." The Scabbards and Momo hate Kaido. Kaido is just in Luffy's way.

There's been tons of threads and discussion in the past few days, half the board doesn't need to be One Piece threads in order to discuss it.

Probably because Big Mom is the better villain in Kaido's own battle and she's just standing around biding her time not giving a fuck.

I was sort of hoping for some more beast pirate feast antics before the raid actually started fighting.

And instead of seeing Luffy or even Law and Kid opening the fight with Kaido, we have to start with Kaido wiping the floor with 8 jobbers from the past who had been part of One Piece's lore for such a little time that I couldn't care. It doesn't help that Oda has been trying to push these samurai down our throats in detriment of the characters that were part of the series for decades, they reek of author's pet and it makes them more annoying.
