Would love more Soremachi, Hidamari Sketch, and SZS. Soremachi needs it the most though because it only had 13 episodes while HS and SZS are already pretty long.

Soremachi needs more seasons. A full adaptation would cement it as the greatest Sol anime.

Soremachi was rather high-quality by anime comedy standards. Comfy, cute, good jokes. To hate it is to expose your shit taste. What else needs be said?

I don't think SoreMachi was a good fit for Shaft. Ishiguro's story-telling is very down-to-earth while Shaft anime tend to be more ostentatious.

How is Pani Poni Dash and Negima for someone that hasn't read their manga? I usually do try and read manga before their adaptations but I've been wanting to go through the stuff Shaft has made and some of the manga they've adapted are pretty long.

I thought the direction of the anime wasn't as good a fit as it was for other shows as well. I had read the manga first and was pretty caught off guard watching the first episode despite having been looking forward to how Shaft would do it. It was still good though.

Actually Pani Poni Dash is already decided since it's apparently not fully translated. And Shaft's Negima is apparently an alternate version of its source and not a direct adaptation.

pani poni dash feels very different from pani poni, the manga mostly focuses on short one page jokes so shaft added in a bunch of stuff to make coherent episode long jokes while also making it faster paced
